  • Wished this had been announced earlier to the event. Saw it late after choosing task one rewards of a newtron gold and have no itention of starting a research in that time frame.


    edit: this is stupid for the alliance items. what alliance is going to change that many times in 6 days?


    If they insists on keeping temp items a thing. I would like to suggestion certain ranks every reward event instead of doing all or nothing. So say all even ranks hold temporary items while all even ranks hold permanent items. give some consistency on what to expect.

    Don't get me wrong I love free stuff but common how the hell are you going to use this stuff


    How are you going to use Alliance class that is free stuff ?


    If you are in an alliance do you have permission to change the class ? Then will the next player in said alliance changes it again tell me how is that going to work out one alliance can have 20 plus players how is that going to work? Remember you have 7 days to use said class among 20 players it would be like a yo yo

    its a waste of time unlocking something you can not use.


    How are you going to use planet fields/ moon fields if you have them already on your planets and moons ? you have 7 days to use them. They do not stack.


    class change meh you can keep changing class every time rewards comes around if you want

    Alliance change useless item unless you are founder

    planet fields all will become useless or are useless for some already


    But hey free stuff is free stuff that you can not use nor hold onto for when you do need to use them.


    its a time waster doing the tasks when I could do something more productive then unlocking rewards I can not use.

    There is a special section in your inventory called 'Time-Limited Items', you probably have to scroll a bit to get there.

    Yeah thanks, Just found it. Only a week to use the stuff which I don't need lol. Anyway, they may experiment with stuff like that. But rather better gave an option to offload unwanted items for res or DM instead.

  • Free stuff is cool, not a complaint but perhaps a non timed option would be a beneficial consideration for some users. Things like ally classes and player classes are not used often for example. id rather see even a 10% booster with no time constraints if I don't plan to change classes soon. Again free is free, can't complain but just something for GF to consider.

    uh... no, class ships were meant to be tradeable in the marketplace, that's how the update was tested and then rolled out.

    Well then, I say stop hoarding items. Use what you get. There's no need to keep items in your bag for nothing.

  • There is a difference between hoarding them and using them tactically.


    The lifeform Krakens most people save those for a new colony to speed things up.


    Resource boosters/Res packs, I, like plenty of others will save them until I can run boosters on all the planets to make the most of them, or save them for Astro/a big research.


    Once again, free stuff is free stuff so can't complain too much but it is the loss of flexibility that will annoy some

  • Well then, I say stop hoarding items. Use what you get. There's no need to keep items in your bag for nothing.

    I save all my newtons up for my next astros not just a weeks astro but years my next astro level 32 is not weeks its 341w 4 d 9 hrs, there is only 52 weeks in a year that is years waiting for astro to finish. and that is not even a new planet. I have to save and do another level of astro and that will be double the waiting time. However every newtron I can save is time reduced I can not do that if we have this free stuff time limited.:crying:

    Then I need to work with lifeforms so I can reduce that time even further. and that takes time and lifeforms items will help me get there but can not do that if I have a limited time of 7 days to use the items.



    Then there is saving all the recourse's up to hoard while I plan and hope my fleet is not hunted down by another player. Those res stored are for Astro but then there is the small amount of packs I do have saved to help me get my next astro I again can not do that if they are time limited :angry:


    And to get this free stuff you have to be a puppet on a string and do tasks so its not totally free you have to spend your time to do said tasks and even spend DM to complete some of these task or Hire staff if you want all the free stuff so its not really free. time is money even if i play for fun and enjoyment.


    All these time limited items will make it impossible for me to progress in this game, pushing it to the point of why bother to play.


  • What now :confused: , bad idea to put timer for certain items. I think if you put timers it should only be on buffs for resources/extra slots/ p|m fields, people won't whine about it since they can keep extending them and since rewards are often nowadays players can get those items soon enough again if they need them. But what use is timed detroids for developed player? I think this rewards help newer undeveloped accounts more then developed ones. They did give a nice 90days 40% deut buff and 30% ones too so it's not all that bad.

    I understand expo slots because these are running permanently anyway. Fleet slots - less so.

    Planet/moon fields - well you either already have a place to put them or you won't anyway.

    But timering res bonuses and time reductions is just braindead.

    you failed to mention the real useless stuff, like classes, especially alliance classes.

  • Well there was just a merge and people in exodus universes have their alliances disbanded so would lose their alliance class items if they had used one so this was most likely considered a way to give them a chance to set up again if needed?. If those items are there as a 1 off then it would make sense and not be the end of the World. If the items are there again in future events then OK it would be too much but as irritating as it is lets just see if its a 1 of or a trend?
