Uni 1 Settings Change ( 1 last time)

I've been playing this game since 2007 and have seen a hell of a lot of changes, some I've liked, but most I didn't.

I've been shuffled from pillar to post in all the merges, I finally found an old school home in Uni 1 some time back. Fleet speed 1x

I don't like it that the Johnny's come lately arrive in our Uni but aren't happy with the settings, they want them changed for their benefit, stuff the people already here and happy with the way things are.

If your not happy with the settings here, why come here at all, leave and go to a uni that has the setting that you like.

As far as I'm concerned, I will vote NO on the changes being put forward here.

I still think we should try vote just 50% debri..

Doesnt affect the miners. If they been in the uni long enough they gained X amount of eco after the years anyways.

Weren't u disillusioned few months back anyways? What sparked that newfound excitement for wasting even more money? Recently some mysterious player proved how far you could go with buying your to the top - it's a dead end.

yeah im back from retirement cant seem to stay away as ocrack does what it does, tho i was only out of u1 and still played hu/de accounts, now that im back here looking after new account i need to increase dens from 8.5h to 12h for sound sleep

but worry not $50 for a project sleep soundly is the extend of my delusion, ranks was never my thing just building silly things n wasting time

Also you are not looking at older, stronger accounts which have more points. Being a miner is bad for starting up the game, it might be more useful once you hit 3-4bil points if you pump full eco and don't invest into expo buffs. The point is you lose nothing with being miner and pulling res twice a day. I said it myself, discominers are totally unbalanced but you NEED to invest time and play the game + you risk being attacked while idling, so what would you prefer? Nerf to that playstyle or deut into DF to give fleeters a small buff which wouldn't even be that big, probably around 10-15% per CR.

Let us compare what change in eco automatically does to miners compared to fleeters;

I don't have access to different accounts to compare but lets say 15 planets 5-6bil miner has lvl 52 metal mine, while 5-6bil fleeter will probably have less then lvl 50 but lets say he got lvl 50. Metal buff on miner account would at that point be at atleast 120% by that time so lets go with that even though i think it would be higher.

I won't include officers.

x8 > x10 miner = 25% increase

x8 > x10 fleeter = 8.2% increase

Instant difference in eco change is 600mil/day for doing nothing and this results is basically bull*hit because it overestimates fleeter mines and underestimates resource buff of miner so difference is actually around 1bil+ / day for sure so actual % is even higher then this little test... And now you add deut into 30% DF and from every CR you make you get maybe 10-15% depending on fleet composition. I doubt it would be even 10% because most chased fleets have alot of cargoes thus low deut so actual benefit might be even lower on most CR's. Thats why people want 50%. Now you might say "but they are fleeters they farm it" and i tell you to go make fleet and find 1bil worth of profit every single day excluding deut costs from your profit and lets see how many recalls you do and how much deut you lose on it.

Do you still think asking deut into DF or even increase is unfair? You automatically have over 17% more value from higher eco then fleeters. Discoverers also have even larger gains due to increase in findings but as i said discominer is overpowered, for new accounts especially.

If someone can show some stats like this but for how eco progressing to x8 while df % stayed the same has given miners a huge passive benefit that has been out of balance with typical fleeter gains from farming/fleet crashing (because that % didn't grow)...and how the active play of fleeters, with the inherent extra risk of losing fleet, should allow a fleeter to grow faster than a miner by default because the loss of fleet can easily undo all of those gains (miners can't lose their mines once they're built short up blowing up the planet) then you might be able to make a solid enough argument for 50% debris field...but don't focus on whales who are obviously unbalanced inherently, do it for the average player and account growth...I don't know enough about those particulars but that's my best suggestion for making some progress here, obviously there is a strong basis here, just needs to be in the context of how 30% df stunted growth of the average fleeter in comparison to how the eco increases to x8 benefited miners
