How do production bonuses stack?

  • There's a lot of ways to boost production in ogame - officers, resource boosters, collector bonus, plasma tech, lifeform buildings/researches and of course crawlers. I've read geologist stacks additively with the 40% booster, but do they also stack additively with lifeform stuff and crawlers? I know crawlers are capped at 50% production, but lifeform stuff can easily reach 250% production bonus. There's many lifeform techs that give 1.5% at level 20 or so. 20 planets that's 30% per tech. There's like 12 of those techs of the 18 slots, so one can easily reach 250%+ production bonus, especially if playing human/rocktal whose buildings also have production bonuses, 300% is reachable. But does that stack additively or multiplicatively with the other bonuses namely 10% geologist, 40% booster, 50% crawlers, 20% plasma? I'm trying to calculate at which point i should switch from discoverer to collector, but i need to know how it stacks with those. Same for collector bonus, does the 25% increase (37.5% with 50% rocktal collector boost) stack additively or multiplicatively?

  • server bonus and planet slot are multiplicative with base mine production, EVERYTHING else is its own line item in the resource tab, each line item is generating extra res completely seperate from the other items, and everything gets add together for the final output. example: after server setting and planet slot you make 1000 metal per hour from your mine, the geologist will produce 100 metal per hour, the crawlers will produce 500 per hour, and the plasma will produce 200 metal per hour. add them all together, 1000+100+500+200= 1800 metal per hour. everything works this way items, lifeforms, crawlers, class bonuses etc, only server settings and planet slots are multiplicative.

  • it boosts base production and then at the end it all sums up as Sun Wukong mentioned. Only one that affects the rest is planet slot increase. Like slot 8 gives 40% bonus to metal, that one does stack with other bonuses.
