VEGA new settings 2025

    INFORMATIVE POLL, THE OFFICIAL POLL WILL TAKE PLACE IG.

    Since the server merges are over, i have been asking around on VEGA what kind of changes players would like to see. I was far from done, but since other servers are already posting their requests, VEGA can not stay behind.


    Below are the most requested changes so far:


    eco 10 (edited by Neo because impossible)

    speed 4/2/2

    debris 60%

    deut in debris

    0.5 deut consumption


    The new options have pro's and cons for our fleeters and miners.


    However, feel free to discuss further because many VEGA players have not shared their opinion yet.

    as far as specs go, i like what ScolarVisari posted


    x10 eco + deut in df, and as compensation 60% df instead od 70%


    pretty nice for miners, expoers and fleeters

    You should drop the x10 eco request, they already told you it's not possible because Mercury in retrograde would interfere with Saturn in opposition and cause a negative imbalance or what the f ever i don't even know what i'm saying at this point.


    Isn't the differential fleet speed at 4/2/2 already?


    Rest seems pretty reasonable, hope it goes through.

    Requests will only be processed starting in September.

    It is not currently possible to vote on a change to x10 economy. Of course, if this changes, it will be communicated.

    No acs def or acs attack allowed with Ripper.

    Ripper can play alone,give him x1 x1 x1 settings,all others can have x10 eco.

    Regarding the other options, what would you like to do?

    Would you like us to send an IG message to spark discussion about possible changes?

    A poll on the forum to find out which options you would like before the IG poll?

    Before i even made this forum post i asked players in VEGA themself what they would prefer / find acceptable for changing the DF%, DtDF and lower fuel usage. The only option for none fleeters...? requesting 10* eco.... If that cant even be made possible anno 2025, why would none fleeters (whom are still a big majority on probably every server) vote yes on (looking at the responses so far) positive changes without getting anything in return themself?

    Perhaps its time to give the older servers the 10* eco boosts (perhaps even 12*??:crazy:), and new servers stick to the 8* instead. This way the community (ergo the non fleeters) might look more positive to future merges aswell.

    If the proposed server setting changes only benefit fleeters (Deut to DF, albeit slightly decreased DF% and less fuel consumption), I think that puts a lot of the Vega transplants in a bad place and may push them to quit. If x10 eco isn't possible, is there something else that would help the non-fleeter population? Maybe increasing peaceful fleet speed to x6 or something like that for the miners/expo folks?


    I know there are plenty of Vega transplants that came from hostile x1 unis like Wurren and Yin, so I'm sure there's a large number of those players who would also prefer to see an option to change hostile fleet settings to x1. Not personally in favor of that, but I am told that there are a lot of folks that would like that, so may be worth a pulse check for that as well?

    Looks like there are certain new proposals and i guess starting a votingpoll with all the requests ingame might be te best solution to see what the server really wants? :)

    why cant you include x10?

    its not confusing at all..we know how things "work"

    its a board poll, surely we all know by now its not official at all

    just a means to get info about the desires of players


    so..

    please add something like

    x10 eco (not possible atm!)
