Dear Commanders,
We’re happy to announce the availability of our new OGame mobile app for Android! To ensure the best possible experience going forward, we ask you to associate an email in the current app and then we invite you all to migrate to the new app. The new app offers the same gameplay you know and love – now with improved support and future compatibility.
What you need to do:
- If you haven’t linked an email address yet: You need to complete this step in the old app first. Please do not delete the old app until you have successfully migrated your account. Otherwise, access to your game data may be lost.
- Download the new OGame app: https://play.google.com/store/…om.gameforge.ogameandroid
- Log in to the new app using your usual credentials: Use the email address and password you already use for your Gameforge account.
- Continue where you left off: your progress and settings will be preserved.
Important: Access to the old app will end shortly. We recommend completing the migration as soon as possible to avoid disruptions.
If you have questions, check out our FAQ or contact our support team.
Thank you for being part of the OGame universe!
Your OGame Team
Why is there a new app?
- We're transitioning to a newly published version of the OGame app to ensure long-term compatibility and support for future improvements.
- No. The new app is currently only required for Android users. You can continue using the version available in the App Store without interruption.
However, we strongly recommend that you link your account to an email address if you haven’t already. This ensures compatibility with future updates and keeps your progress safe.
- No. As long as you log in with the same account (email address and password), all your progress will be preserved.
- You’ll be asked to link your login to a Gameforge account with an email address. This is necessary for security and account recovery. It only takes a few seconds and ensures access to your game going forward.
- You won’t be able to log in via the old and new app anymore. The sooner you migrate, the smoother the transition.
- During the first week of the migration, Social Logins (Google, Facebook) are not supported in the new app.
We’ve kept these login options active in the old app to give everyone enough time to migrate their account. If you have already completed the migration, you can log in to the new app using your registered email address and password.
