  • MasterMind called me yesterday while I was in the middle of having dinner. I had been lazy in the afternoon and ended up ordering some Chinese takeaway (the price of food has gotten ridiculous recently — I ended up paying almost 20 packs).

He sounded quite happy, I could instantly feel the positive energy emerging from his end of the phone. Apparently, the show last Tuesday had gone well. “It was fascinating to see the lesbian couple dance so freely, and watch how underway both of them took turns performing the act of the societal masculine role, by taking charge and leading the choreography,” he said. MasterMind told me that he had shared one of his favourite jokes about Biggy with the person next to him at the theatre, but sadly his seatmate’s event handler was not able to process high-calibre humour like that of the Master’s, and not even a polite chuckle was returned.

I asked him how the fallen messiah Khaos was doing at the moment, after abandoning his 28th account earlier this year. MasterMind assured me he is doing well — apparently, he’s working on a farm for a big tech company in Australia, experimenting with the use of AI training on kangaroos for combat purposes in the event of a new world war breaking out.

The Eritrean culture had really been a phenomenal experience so far for the Master; the local people had been humble and treated him with a just level of respect. He told me that his Jamaican tour guide had started referring to him as “bombaclaat” which supposedly means “fearless leader”. MasterMind told me that over the weekend, he had been invited by the elders of the village to participate in a traditional ceremony that took place on top of a nearby mountain. There, under the moonlight, the villagers gathered around a bonfire while the Master drew various fleet composition layouts on the ground with a stick. After several hours of silent observation, the group emphatically embraced the Master with words of gratefulness and worship before they started dancing Saho for the remainder of the night.

Furthermore, it turns out that the Master is co-hosting the very first and newly founded annual KAS Conference, alongside a close friend of his who goes by the name Benito_Benitoso (a fellow disciple and a vital engineer in the modernisation of KAS). It’s scheduled to take place in the coming week in Lisbon, with tickets already sold out.

I told the Master about the therapy sessions the wife has made me attend recently, specifically about how I feel it’s a complete waste of money and time. Every time I try to bring up OGame and explain the basics of it to the counsellor, so she could get an idea of my point of view, she immediately cuts me off and starts talking about something completely unrelated — usually having to do with feelings. MasterMind suggested that he would be willing to do a counselling session for us for just half the price of the current one, with him personally mediating the session. I immediately accepted his generous offer, and for the first time in a while, I felt a huge burden being lifted off my shoulders. If anyone understood and could accurately articulate the details and importance of OGame to her, it was the Master, no doubt.

I thanked the Master for being so kind to me, always offering words of wisdom and encouragement in times of need. Then, after abruptly being put on hold for a minute, he politely told me he had to go. Funnily enough, Faker called and was on the other line with him, in desperate need of advice for the world finals on Sunday.
