Your account probably started with X1 eco. You adjusted to that just fine.
Reducing the eco level will also help reduce the prospective growth of people using packs.

It's the fleet speed UX wet dream that game forge introduced. People have fallen a foul of clicking their desired speed and then either hovering over and disrupting the selection or just forgetting to set it.
It's somewhat resolved by using AGR (thanks RiV) but it's still a wank user experience
