I'd like to ask piink to forward a request to the Dev Team to reinstate the Debris Field cap of 20 million Metal / 20 million Crystal for Pirates encounters in Expeditions, as the lack of DF limitation is what makes the outcome of specified engagements very imbalanced right now, in favor of the players, especially the ones of Discoverer class.

In addition to that, it appears reasonable to also place a limit on the overall amount of Pirates & Aliens fleet weights (or, the amount of ships) which are set against a player, so that even under highly-enhanced economical settings of Universes & scales of top 1 points over 100.000.000, the encounters with these two factions will not be producing profits that are making the original / implied designs vanish off the shore like sand castles. :)

I'm unable to take a look at 3:65 in Galaxy view in Quantum with no game-enhancing scripts running and Discoverer chosen as player class. I'm not certain if the latter is what might be influencing it, however, the state of the solar system didn't change after this morning's daily relogin.

The new ship cost is 90.000 Metal, 50.000 Crystal and 20.000 Deuterium.

Rapidfire against Battleships is lowered from 7 to 6.

Basic Cargo Capacity value increased from 10.000 to 15.000.

Basic Fuel usage value reduced from 1.100 to 1.000.

And then, based on utilization data within the next few months, it'll be possible to determine whether further price adjustment in favor of amplified Metal to Crystal ratio is applicable. I wouldn't strike out a cost similar to 95.000 Metal / 45.000 Crystal / 20.000 Deuterium (or possibly, 15.000).

If you couldn't make LF in a uni, what would be the best alternative??

The usage of 4 kinds of ships, which are HFs, Cruisers, Battleships and Battlecruisers, in properly-arranged ratios in accordance to types of targets, with the first 2 ships serving the purpose of cover-up to divert opponent's rapid fire affecting capital ships (Battleships and Battlecruisers).

In my viewpoint, the moons durability problem can be solved by making Moon Destruction mission's speed not affected by the server's ship flight settings & always remain that of x1.

(Not that it's astonishing discovery and wasn't outlined before, though).

The thing both of you are talking about is not anyhow a solution for Moon protection in speed Universes, because of the way IPMs work. :) 2-3 miners providing such support for the attackers can succeed in practically getting rid of any number of defenses on the Moon.

give @piink a break. they have been working hard at all this. just be glad it wasnt the other COMA before her.....she actually replies....I didnt even know who the other COMA was :whistling:

Think it was SUCO, a fellow who displayed a lot of attention to arising issues in the tickets, as an example, I remember him asking GF techs to transfer one of my accounts into post-merged destination uni 3 weeks after the whole process has concluded (experienced e-mail reception difficulties upon address change on my side), and, in addition to this, the account didn't even have a destination Uni selected while merging activities proceeded in the first place. :)

And, the outcome of our communication was a successful account relocation, on the 28th of April 2016, a date interesting to compare with the ones noted in that merge's initial schedule. :)

I still see a lot of inactives from Taurus in VM. Now your saying they will be like that permanently, another GF fail

Dear community, we are confident that the Vmode script is finally working and we hope to be able to run it WW soon, however it needs one last test round before it is applied to all servers.

Therefore tomorrow, 6th of December at around 13:00 CET, the script will be applied in 2 EN servers: Universe 1 and Quantum 117.

Do you mean most of those are still remaining in VMode in the 1st Uni? Because if it's not the 1st one or Quantum, they weren't supposed to anyhow change their status with today's test alterations.

The last point of the upcoming things is how we should handle closed universes... As you might know we only kept the Top10 of the old universes and deleted everything else as it was all just in one section. For the current universes the things from the universe section itself get archived in one archive and the CR’s don’t get archived at all. So the threads from the universe section would be moved to their archive and the CR’s would get deleted. Now the question is how long should such a section stay?

If we're talking about the archives, I'd say as long as the project exists. :) This also includes the CR's, which, in my opinion, should be preserved. However, I'd try to reconsider the requirements under which they're allowed to be posted, in favor of the increased amount of total damages.

For the case of merges, whenever they will come, we cleared out the universe sections for a fresh start in the past. This would mean that all the CR’s that are currently posted would get deleted if we do it this way again. For this we want your suggestions on how you would do it.

Personally, I'd have chosen the route of retaining as much history of the universes as I could, if there aren't any major technical restrictions such as lags due to the overall amount of messages within board sections obstructing the respective task.
