im 99% sure that temperature will stay the same, regardles of the slot it gets moved to
however further relocations will change the temp, so you might be stuck with the odd coords that the merge gives you

we gonna be hearing about this for the next decade
its becoming extremely hard to avoid/ignore your posts when you post all around the board.
just be lucky that merge and graveyard actually exist,
in the old times a domain would just get shut down, leaving players without accounts completely.
go for graveyard, do the math again with 1-2 planets less, and enjoy rebuilding in legacy settings
but it is a fact that at one point, may it be a month from now, or years, legacy settings will be gone
so maybe its better to either quit now, or stop shooting yourselves in the foot by avoiding normal eco settings (x8)

We discovered an issue with the script that sends out polls ingame, it's already reported and it's being fixed and after the fix that we can do it.
For now you can discuss the features you want so when script is working we know what to ask in the poll.
Seeing as you guys make the changes. Is there any proof anywhere where a change in uni eco/research/fleetspeed Has increased the population of any server in any way?
All suggestions I'v seen so far are for there own benifits.

need to make sure the voting is done all in one yes/no question
that way either all changes pass or none do.. which makes both fleeters and miners compromise in a (small) way!
as for activity.. ogame is losing players.. thats a fact that doesnt seem to change
would Dione lose players if settings change? maybe.. but if its a balanced change (as in all player styles get some benefit) numbers might stay the same, or even increase
but if you stick to same server settings, universe will die down at its own pace anyway
so basically you just want to play a little longer, without investing money, to finish the long-term stuff (which means pretty much only astro)

servers cant handle lifeforms on basic unis, with basic settings
setting aside if x10 fleet is possible or not, combining that with 100% DF and NO Acs,
with probe storage on, it almost looks like a perfect uni for automated ppl
and why stop on 0.5 deut? we already have that,, you want something special - lets go for 0,05
everyone would start this uni..even i would..but 99% of ppl would quit it
100% df seems like an incentive, but its quite the opposite
if theres no punishment (as in losing a fleet) whats the point of the game?
it sounds more like a farmville, someone slaps you, you hit undo
[which was also kinda made possible with metal packs, but this way, youre taking money out of GFs pocket]
and what happens to wreck field for defenders?
defenders end up with 100% ress and MORE fleet? or we make space dock obsolete?
what about generals?
