    this is a step in right direction, way better than options A and B


    if the idea is to preserve one NO ACS uni i understand

    but if thats the case why not make New D that will be equal to what Lacerta is now

    keep it x8 eco, no acs but make it a fresh new uni

    that way you give those who asked to go out of Lacerta a chance to do so

    and if there are players who want no acs uni let them have it


    on the other hand as someone who plays x4 friendly x2 hostile

    mainly as expo..i wouldnt have ideal target..which is somewhat fine

    if i want to get x10 eco i have to risk going x3 hostile

    which brings in faster expos at x6..decent trade of but very specific for expoers who are willing to risk

    however im not sure that fits miners and/or fleeters of existing x2s unis

    first of all its very nice to see GF asking for some feedback

    its a rare opportunity and i hope it we can influence the merge this way


    im glad we`ll all get x10 eco

    but there are few things that need to be mentioned


    most importantly

    thuban should have x5 alternative..we have gone a long way from Progame but it really is crucial to keep x5 fleet


    issue is that if i want to support thuban and give it at least x4 option

    i have to vote for option b - which means my x2 uni doesnt have acs

    then again, if i go be selfish and vote for my interest, it means thuban maybe goes from x5 fleet to x2

    i can only relate to them from one of the previous merge where my x2 uni was supposed to go down to x1


    now to get back to x2 war unis..its either one x2 no acs uni,

    or 2 x2 unis which we kinda have now?

    why?

    as i recall even Lacerta players (who are in non acs uni) wanted to enable acs..but game prevents us eh

    so why is non acs an option?

    i have removed irrelevant colums as all unis "would be"

    x10 eco, x20 research, acs enabled, deut in df enabled, bonus fields +30,

    galaxies&systems circular and only difference is "category" and starting DM


    please do mind this if theres another poll, it took quite a bit back n forth to gt all the info cuz table is huge


    uni1 should have an increase in DF aswell

    and ofcourse the higher the fleet speed, bigger df %


    i think this covers most of the wants/needs but ofcourse correct me if i am wrong


    i was made aware of 9 galx being too much for New B/C

    maybe that is something to think about

    iirc we can go 7 galx then increase by 1 if need be?


    ofcourse i would keep same groups as it gives newer unis a chance to have a nice New C

    i am very aware of that but i intentionally left it out of the post

    because now that you made it public, they might actually try and vote x8 friendly along with x1hostile

    just to make fleeters lives harder


    but doesnt matter i guess, its a trend in this thread/vote anyways

    Vega has always been creative universe..its the first time i see ppl asking to downvote only fleetspeed that matters



    if there is a vote for x1 fleet, give us a vote for x4 fleet aswell

    if we get x1 fleet, next year we can merge to uni1

    and trust me, people there attack for 10x less ress than in here

    or we could go to Thuban if we get x4 hostile, that works too

    im going offtopic but since yohdh asked


    as far as catching up goes..no way for ppl to catch up as we have been seeing unless they go whale

    if you want new players to have a chance, give % noob protection, not flat out 500k

    in new unis give 2 or 3 astro items, not timed [if they get merged after a year]

    heck, u can even let them live for 2 years! give 2x more astro items!

    increase happy hour to 150%


    that will help them more than x10 compared to x8


    as far as old unis[those that survive merge] go, make them as equal as possible

    all x10 eco

    all deut in df

    peaceful fleets x1-2, x4, x5/6

    depending on hostile fleet have df % increase


    and for the love of god change that 30% df to 50-60% df in uni 1

    2003 was a long time ago, no need to be stuck there

    i havent seen anywhere that its announced that we can have 2x

    just 1x..then Yin appeared

    no one said a word

    then the merge happened (which wasnt that good for either old or new unis)

    and voila we have 4x

    so whats stopping us now?

    server limits?

    surely they can be upgraded

    but the mistake of giving fafnir x10 is already behind us


    if GF cared about new players growing, surely young unis would have 150% DM happy hour, instead of 50%, compared to old unis that have 100%


    that leaves us with actually needing 5 x10 eco unis

    which im sure its not an option, just like 2x10 eco was not possible, until it was

    and then the 4x10 ecos became a thing

    if players dont understand that, when its clearly stated, then its on them


    i dont see any vote passing if it doesnt satisfy both miners and fleeters

    since its all informative then give us possibility to vote on something thats clearly been stated that it will happen in future

    its not confusing at all..we know how things "work"

    its a board poll, surely we all know by now its not official at all

    just a means to get info about the desires of players

    the most crucial thing is that vote is just one yes/no question


    as far as specs go, i like what ScolarVisari posted


    x10 eco + deut in df, and as compensation 60% df instead od 70%


    pretty nice for miners, expoers and fleeters
