peoples playing in and out of VM is repercussion of MD being dirt cheap since expos came out so if you want to fix something then fix the root cause of it and put MD where its supposed to be aka not something that can be spammed because nobody wants to wake up and see all their moons gone and thats why they keep going in and out of vm

Yea thats a nice calculation but who guarantees that 100 players will pay 50€. Normally people who dont pay for packages will neither pay for anything else.
You have no idea how wrong you are,I know tons of peoples who spend ~50€ per UNI(myself included) on expo boosters,officers and insta finishing things but never bought a single package with DM.I'd bet you anything theres 100+ peoples on Eries who bought DM and look at the state of the UNI.When I said 100 peoples who'll buy 50€ I lowballed a lot because that number in UNI without packages will probably be lots higher cause they will feel better about spending on UNI where they know that random noob cant buy his way to the top and bully them till they quit.That UNI would also bring back lots of players who left due to package abuse so they hit whole "new" market with it.Only downside of this might be what Krabbe wrote above and thats players moving to this UNI and playing only this one but thats highly unlikely because mentality of peoples is that they dont want to rebuild lost fleets and even with no packages time of brainless MDs will come and everyone will start losing fleets and quitting.

what if, slowly, all players started only playing there now?
if you are alone with 3 other DM buyers in a universe, that would be no fun without being able to farm the 100+ normal players.
all normal players move to the no DM uni. whales no longer have incentive to buy and the company goes bankrupt.

i don't think anyone could calculate that risk and for that reason, we will never see a uni without ress packages, unfortunately.
box of pandora can not be closed. it's either all unis have DM or none.
(i don't have a degree in game design or finance so i might be wrong, but that is what i think the reason is)
Thing is that UNI still has DM and with no packages you would have way more peoples buying DM for expo/fleet slot boosters,krakens/newtrons/detroids,relocations etc etc
Just like any other that UNI would die and players will move to normal ones its just that it would probably last couple months
In the end its way better for game itself to have 100 players spend 50€ each than have 5 players spend 1k € each while profit wise its all same for the company.

We won't be adding a poll to this suggestion as we won't be able to send it out.
GF is aware of players' desire to have servers that are a little different, whether it's a server without DM or one with a restriction. Now we have to wait for them to do something (or not).
We dont need poll because its obvious that 99% of players would agree on this because theres 0% chance that Gameforge would give us UNI with no DM at all so this would be perfect for both sides.
Those so called "managers" that are running this game while knowing as much about it as I know about nuclear physics need to get their noses out of income spreadsheets and go learn real state of the game which is worst I've seen it in my 20 years of playing.17/20 members of our Ceres alliance has left the game for good after complete noob bought 250m points and started random MDing on everyone and their mothers.Eris #1 has over 1b points on day 9 so what do you all think how long will that server last?Game is going down no matter what their spreadsheets say and once we get to the point where theres not enough players who are not paying to cover their lack of skill even whales will see that its pointless to spend money on dead game and everything will go to hell.React now even if it means you'll lose couple thousand euros on UNI like this and you will bring back players who left and with this game being so addictive big chunk of them will keep playing for a while on new UNIs after no packages one is dead.BTW no suggestion about anything DM related makes me feel like we're in Soviet Russia so friendly advice to those guys who came up with something stupid like that,get off your high horse and accept the fact that OGAME would be in far better state both game wise and financially if it was run by experienced players instead of peoples with fancy diplomas who know nothing about how game works.I dont mean to insult anyone but if I did well you deserve it just for letting things from screenshot below happen.

You cant buy skill, they will not survive for long without a skill. You should not care to much about the points and the stats. Just play and have fun.
this is day 8 of Eries so tell me how do you fight them?It doesnt take skill to launch RIPs and take down moons then do blind lanx after that we aint in 2005 when that was something special

Quite simple just give us 1 UNI without packages every year but keep every other DM feature to make it profitable for GF.Come up with good UNI settings and you'll probably make more money than in these UNIs where idiots drop 1k € in first 2 days and then nobody else buys DM cause UNI is pointless.Ceres,Delphinus and Eries are last 3 UNIs that opened and all 3 were/are terrible to play due to players buying dumb amount of ress to cover their lack of skill.
If you dont want to do this then come up with some protection for the 99% of player who aint buying ress
Balance Moon Destruction to be what it was when game came out(not something that you can just spam and hope to find fleet) and come up with updated "newbie" protection which would disable attacks on anyone with 100m points under attacker if target is under 100m points.
Oh and for the love of GOD stop shitting out UNIs without inactive/empty systems lowering flight time/consuption because theres not enough players

Display MoreBeen deploy recalling. Creating activity on my main for atleast an hour after relog. Waking up in the middle of the night. Never fleetsaving same spot twice. Always make sure to stay out of range of my biggest competitiors.
Except this one day because Excel had been banned and I was tired, decided to just fleetsave where my fleet was. Didnt think about where it was, didnt think about who it was near.
And for context. Breizh has probed me like 5 times in this uni combined and hasnt probed me in the last week.
He had no clue where my fleet was or wasnt. He had no clue what res was on any of my moons - if any was there at all.
So for him to just randomly wake up one night and decide to blow my moons - and do it on the one day I didnt play it safe (I still created activity on my hp for an hour around relog as if I was recalling my deploy).
but nope - he succeeded. Out of luck? out of a hunch? out of studying me in the shadows for weeks? fuck if I know, but for you to just sit there and judge me as if I deserved what was coming is so silly.Combine that with what happened in Vega and I bid OGame farewell.
I still have the motivation to rebuild and play. Im still rank 13. I have an amazingly well built account with rank 9 eco, but I take this as the hint I needed to quit.
So pull out your celebatory banners JonSnow. I ll tell you more! Here in the ENG universe doesn't exist the pulling rule, a player can send any amount of resources to One player, even billion, Is in the rules you can go to see yourself.
BUT!!
A pulling rule exist for the FIRST THREE WEEKS an universe is Born.
For this reason im saying they're abusing of a vulnerability of the system, because instead of sending directly resources, this three player put all they're ships together, blues Attack and they recycle and split!
They're doing this because if blues start to send directly resources they will get banned but in this way they will not!
THIS IS AN ABUSE OF THE VULNERABILITY OF THE SYSTEM!!
And if they don't get banned, or touched Is Just because blues gave thousand of Money to GF and of they don't touch someone who give them Money!
Meanwhile, if you or me, small casual honest player, we do something like this at the start we will get banned.

Playing this game "honestly" aka without buying ress and getting to top positions became impossible no matter how good you are so that leads to UNIs being dead in less than a month but Gameforge dont care and they will never care as long as there are idiots who will keep buying ress to feed their egos.
Every UNI since Aries has been crap cause of fleet buying whales and questionable settings picked by GF so theres not much hope left for this game and we need to get used to it
Please for the sake of keeping game alive do something about ress buying cause thats the game breaking thing thats pushing everyone away from playing.Thanks
