Why was this approach chosen? Other communities got it enabled for every universe without polls. Why do you make it so complicated?

And why do you make every feature into a bazillion server settings? I really don't understand this. Every new universe starts with Deut to DF, so eventually every server will have it anyway.

I really don't understand the need of this unnecessary bureaucracy.

Depends on your class but generally yes.

That's a lot of assumptions. A lot of people don't even know that the Board and Game Teams aren't paid employees by Gameforge.

Also, if Gameforge doesn't spend their time to listen to user feedback on the forums, then that's awfully customer-unfriendly, don't you think? Imagine the big players like Blizzard being like "you can post all you want on our forums but we won't read it haha". Seems very cocky of Gameforge to me.

Yes and that's exactly what I understood and what I criticized you for. He's talking to Gameforge to change it and not to you, so why are you saying you have no impact on it? It's like I would go to Blizzard forums and reply to criticism with "sorry but that's Blizzard policy, I can't change anything there". It doesn't make sense. He's not asking you to change it. He's asking Gameforge.

I don't get this "make every new feature a universe setting and require players to vote for it" mentality. Gameforge doesn't make Lifeforms a uni setting and have us vote on whether or not we want it also, right? Why do we need to vote on Deut to DF then? Just enable the damn thing.

Flight time/consumption ignores empty/inactive systems is a (IMO dumb) mechanic that changes the game fundamentally. It can be fun as a niche setting.

DiDF and probe storage are similar. They change how the game is played, and it makes sense to have them as server setting because of that.

Deut into DF doesn't change how the game is played. It doesn't make sense to turn every feature into a bazillion different server settings. Why is Lifeforms not treated the same? Why is Deut into DF?
