Quite SImple, the market place made it rewarding to those of us who didnt Exploit the system. what im preposing is to Return the market place but with some Caviates to how it works.
Removing items From the Marketplace. Punishment of 20% ( this would apply to resource, ships, or a 1 / 10 chance to not recieve the item back (IE 10% boost packs)
having Set Rates, That vary based on who is buying the resource.
if the Number one player is selling to a lower ranked player, the odds shall be in favour of the lower classed player, unless there is <10M points between, where in this situation both partys would have Fixed equal rates
if a Lower Ranked player is Selling Resource and a higher ranked player Buys it, they will be at a Ratio in favour of the Lower ranked player, so that this way it would be impossible to Push Resource Up hill into the coffers of the allready Rich.
for Example, a Player with 50M points is selling 100,000,000 Metal on the market place in search of Deut and there are 4 Buyers
Buyer 1 is a player with 23B points
The Ratio that he can buy the metal will be at 2:1:1. for a total Cost of 50,000,000 deut
buyer 2 is a player with 58M points
The Ratio that he can buy the metal will be at 2.5:1.5:1 for a total cost of 40,000,000 Deut
Buyer 3 is a player with 23M points
the Ratio that he can buy the metal will be at 3:2:1 for a total cost of 33,333,334 Deut
Buyer 4 is a player with 1 point
he can not buy it because we dont hide resource on Empty 0 point accounts, now do we.
I would like to add that the buyer may Limit his sales to only sell to those at a certain Ratio in the event that the seller is in need of a absolute Minimum for the trade.
With Selling Fleet, i feel as if there should be a upfront Cost Ontop on the Trade For Deut, this is to Cover moving the Fleet from the marketplace to the new owner, that way you cant just buy 5B battle Cruisers in Gal 5 pay 0 in fuel, Launch an attack, then Sell your Fleet to some one else in your alliance and not worry about fleetsaving, or using Deut to move them system to system.
The same Ratios would apply Although the Total Value of the Fleet will be Less than what you built them for.
i would propose that on the event that you are unable to sell the Fleet you are given an option to Scrap them at 35% value, 45% Value(DM Paid) 75% (DM Paid) or to cop a 20% loss to Value (Count of ships).
now im no Mega Math Mind Guy. i probably have made a mistake here somewhere but for a feature that was fun/ empowering for fleeters looking for Deut, Miners looking to Trade and Discoverer'er'ers doing discovery things and needing to sell their Fleet to the generals this seems like the better way to handle the situation.

Miners and Discoverers play peekaboo with the generals while making sweet dime, but then get caught off hand when their fleet lands 10 minutes early.
