Felt the need to post this one. Although I post a lot, I don’t post them all, and usually I wouldn’t post this one (is a direct correlation to me posting and others targeting those I hit regularly). I’m posting this because it’s a milestone for me personally, taking the crown from Kwisatz Aderach the long time holder of the mass destructor of the universe. Whilst our paths were vastly different, one crushing all fleets, I went the complete miner option. Mining my way to #2 overall, and #1 miner in the universe, whilst topping up my production with a vast array of hits, from ACS with my loyal team of legends, to solo top 10’s with what can only be described as one of the worst fleet compositions known to ogame.
Activity has held its place above all else with this account, only spending DM found through expos to convert res to different sorts of res, and only spending to keep commanders active and complete what would otherwise be month long research missions. As I watch foes climbing up quickly, there’s a decision to make. Do I still have the drive to push further and revert back to my fleeting ways. Do I throw it all in and convert to the turtle miner mode, or do I turn my key on the lock of life, and pass the account on to someone who can still devote the time required to completing the construction on the foundations I’ve supplied. Only time will tell, for now - I’ll enjoy a beer. A whiskey. And possibly a joint or two and reminisce on the fleets I’ve caught, the turtle soup I’ve eaten, and the friends I’ve made along the way.

“Pink tutu night” is coming soon chaosk , couple more weeks and the miner in me will take a back seat.Bit of a story for this one, saw it sitting with activity, didn’t think he’d be silly enough to leave such tasty treats behind the defence. He did, full fleet profit was very tasty, but I bided my time until the window where he usually left his account inactive. Thinking I’d made the right times, I launched, only for him to come online mid flight and make me sad. Happiness was around the corner - he’d fleetsaved from planet split into 3 fleets. Decision time. Fly for fleet 1 and get small profit, fly for fleet 2 and hope he stayed offline, fly for fleet 3 and hope he missed everything completely. Looking at length of fleetsave, decided fleet 2 was option to go for, close enough to fleet 1 that if he didn’t pay close attention, would get 2 of them, He was online for the end of the flight, and for some reason decided to boost res into plasmas instead of trying to launch away fleet 1.
