P.S. The most hilarious part of this thread is where Al shows a glimpse of sympathy to one of the two figures he has hated most and seen as the eternal enemy. It pretty much sums up the Assassin misery. check out the difference between his post here and the one on TC gettig top 10'd before by Arcane.
Gotta say, always lovely to see such a cocky, arrogant, and rude player such as Thunder Child get smacked. Have never received a civil message from him. I know that Assassins got the best of me a few months back, but at least I don't hold any of those characteristics previously mentioned and can own my faults and be a good loser. A characteristic that “most” assassins don’t possess.
Fun fact part:
Recently the mighty assjeb coalition decided to go for a couple of our planets, whilst Assassin mastermind was bashing for losses, they also told their wannabe fleeter whale ally to send IPM's?
Now I do not care about nukes nor defense as they are not the way I play but they wanted to send a message...
Some players will push me to a limit that it is irreversible, that limit is what even I myself fear because I've seen it and know how destructive it can be... Don't poke the bad bear or make sure your stick is long enough to outrun either the bear or your stupidity!
Sadly, this is true. JebAss ups the ante on Muppets periodically and lose a fleet in like a week. A while back I told L42 to either do it right or stop it altogether because Assassins would never run out of ways to look like an absolute *****.
Assassins being on the wrong end of things has become a recurring theme in part because their transition from being a force to be reckoned with to being the punchbag of the universe has been pretty swift. They first lost the psychological warfare when it was laid bare that they were just one trick bullies with an empty bag of tricks. They had no surprises, no answers, no plan b's.
If you lose the surprise factor, you lose it all. You have to inflict this way of thinking into the enemies mind: "What is it that cooking for me on that end?". you have to make that launch button a stressor for the enemy. This is crucial for long term survival. Because everyone slips up every once in a while, and the reluctance your much bigger and stronger enemy has will increase the odds you will survive when you make a blunder next time. If you lose the fear factor and have the propensity for blunders, you become like a terminally ill patient waiting to die, and each day you survive is just a bonus.
A big shout to Geek Patrick, who one day claimed I was ancient and the game was different now and he was years ahead of me in fleeting. That was the breaking point for me to stop wasting my time with this bunch.
Enough bullshit. time for an old Turkish electro kebab song from the 70's.
what an absolute pile of horse shit, these res pack whales have paid to win, they're the ones with no surprises, they bought fleets that dwarf all the others and they send them in their entirety at every target they launch on, regardless of the size of the target, making defends or counters/returns impossible.. cowardly playstyle by fleets that were bought. Simp much?
