Dear Commanders
We would like to inform you that the achievements #5, #6 and #15 will suffer some changes next week (some values will increase, others will decrease and some tiers will be replaced).
We will keep you informed regarding when those changes will be made.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Your OGame Team
Hi Commanders
Today, Friday, 22nd of August, we be fixing a problem related with the Discoveries limits. There won't be any new version or changelog and the only visible effect will be a kick from the game.
We apologize for any inconvenient caused
Your OGame Team
You can found the announcement here.
No info were given about the change, but as it is free stuff it has a timer for it.
Well, we were all caught by surprise with this, and dunno honestly what to say or to think, maybe my ship it's too old and has some rust.
What I do know is that we don't want you feel that we were left behind, we as team and you as a player.
As soon as we have more information about it, we will share with you.
Thank you for your understanding!
Points Guide
In this guide, you will learn how the scoring system works in OGame.
It is essentially a guide for new players and aims to explain how points are awarded to players. The points earned for building each ship and defense will be detailed. At the end, some frequently asked questions will be answered.
- General scoring system -
1 point = 1,000 units of any resource (metal, crystal, or deuterium) spent
For example:
500 metal + 500 crystal = 1,000 units = 1 point
300 metal + 300 crystal + 400 deuterium = 1,000 units = 1 point
Note:
Deuterium spent on ship fuel and phalanx “scans” is not counted toward points, nor is the demolition of buildings.
- Economy Points -
You earn 1 economy point for each:
- 2,000 Resources (50% of points) spent on the construction of: Sensor Phalanx and Quantum Jump Gate.
- 1,000 Resources (100% of points) spent on the construction of: Metal Mine, Crystal Mine, Deuterium Synthesizer, Solar Plant, Fusion Reactor, Metal Storage, Crystal Storage, Deuterium Tank, Robotics Factory, Shipyard, Research Lab, Alliance Depot, Missile Silo, Nanite Factory, Terraformer, Space Dock and Lunar Base.
- 2,000 Resources (50% of points) spent on building: Small Cargo, Large Cargo, Colony Ship, Recycler, Espionage Probe, and Solar Satellite.
- 1,000 Resources (100% of points) spent on building: Rocket Launcher, Light Laser, Heavy Laser, Gauss Cannon, Ion Cannon, Plasma Turret, Small Shield Dome, Large Shield Dome, ABM, and IPM.
- Research Points -
You earn 1 research point for every 1,000 resources spent on completed research.
- Military Points -
You earn 1 military point for every:
- 2,000 Resources (50% of points) spent on constructing: Phalanx Sensor and Quantum Jump Portal.
- 1,000 Resources (100% of points) spent on building: Light Fighter, Heavy Fighter, Cruiser, Battleship, Bomber, Destroyer, Death Star, and Interceptor.
- 2,000 Resources (50% of points) spent on building: Small Cargo, Large Cargo, Colonization Ship, Recycler, Espionage Probe, and Solar Satellite.
- 1,000 Resources (100% of points) spent on building: Missile Launcher, Light Laser, Heavy Laser, Gauss Cannon, Ion Cannon, Plasma Cannon, Small Planetary Shield, Large Planetary Shield, Interception Missile, and Interplanetary Missile.
- Honor Points -
Honor Points are awarded based on the amount of destruction caused in combat.
Honor Points = INT(((cost of destroyed units) ^ 0.9) / 1,000)
Small Cargos, Large Cargos, Colonization Ships, Recyclers, Spy Probes, and Solar Satellites destroyed do NOT award Honor Points. All other ships and defenses do.
The attacker will gain or lose Honor Points depending on whether the attack is honorable or not. The defender cannot lose Honor Points.
Example:
If you destroy 10 Light Fighters:
Honor Points = INT(((10 * 4,000) ^ 0.9) / 1,000) = INT(13.86) = 13 points.
- Points for each ship -
- Small Cargo
2,000 metal + 2,000 crystal = 4,000 = 4 points
- Large Cargo
6,000 metal + 6,000 crystal = 12,000 = 12 points
- Light fighter
3,000 metal + 1,000 crystal = 4,000 = 4 points
- Heavy fighter
6,000 metal + 4,000 crystal = 10,000 = 10 points
- Cruiser
20,000 metal + 7,000 crystal + 2,000 deuterium = 29,000 = 29 points
- Battleship
45,000 metal + 15,000 crystal = 60,000 = 60 points
- Colony ship
10,000 metal + 20,000 crystal + 10,000 deuterium = 40,000 = 40 points
Note: When this ship reaches the colonization slot, it “transforms” into a planet, and the points earned in its construction are lost.
- Recycler
10,000 metal + 6,000 crystal + 2,000 deuterium = 18,000 = 18 points
- Espionage Probe
1,000 crystal = 1,000 = 1 point
- Bomber
50,000 metal + 25,000 crystal + 15,000 deuterium = 90,000 = 90 points
- Solar Satellite
2,000 crystal + 500 deuterium = 2,500 = 2.5 points
- Destroyer
60,000 metal + 50,000 crystal + 15,000 deuterium = 125,000 = 125 points
- Deathstar
5,000,000 metal + 4,000,000 crystal + 1,000,000 deuterium = 10,000,000 = 10,000 points
- Interceptor
30,000 metal + 40,000 crystal + 15,000 deuterium = 85,000 = 85 points
- Reaper
85,000 metal + 55,000 crystal + 20,000 deuterium = 160,000 = 160 points
- Pathfinder
8,000 metal + 15,000 crystal + 8,000 deuterium = 31,000 = 31 points
- Crawler
2,000 metal + 2,000 crystal + 1,000 deuterium = 5,000 = 5 points
- Points for each Defense-
- Rocket Launcher
2,000 metal = 2,000 = 2 points
- Light Laser
1,500 metal + 500 crystal = 2,000 = 2 points
- Heavy Laser
6,000 metal + 2,000 crystal = 8,000 = 8 points
- Ion Cannon
2,000 metal + 6,000 crystal = 8,000 = 8 points
- Gauss Cannon
20,000 metal + 15,000 crystal + 2,000 deuterium = 37,000 = 37 points
- Plasma Turret
50,000 metal + 50,000 crystal + 30,000 deuterium = 130,000 = 130 points
- Small Shield Dome
10,000 metal + 10,000 crystal = 20,000 = 20 points
- Large Shield Dome
50,000 metal + 50,000 crystal = 100,000 = 100 points
- Anti-Ballistic Missile
8,000 metal + 2,000 deuterium = 10,000 = 10 points *
* When ABM are used to intercept Interplanetary missiles, the points will be lost.
- Interplanetary Missile
12,500 metal + 2,500 crystal + 10,000 deuterium = 25,000 = 25 points *
* When IPM are used, the points will be lost.
- Frequently Asked Questions -
• If I demolish a building, do I earn points equivalent to what I spend on demolition?
A: No. When you demolish a building, you lose the points earned from its construction, and no points will be counted for the resources spent on its demolition.
• If I destroy a colony, do I lose points?
A: Yes. When you destroy a colony, you lose the points earned in its evolution and those equivalent to the defense and fleet there. The colony ship is not returned to you.
• How do points work in alliances?
A: An alliance's score is defined by the sum of the points of all its members.
The points per member (average) are calculated as follows: the points of each member are added together and then divided by the number of
members.
Updates are made in real time. When you finish building something, you will earn the corresponding points shortly afterwards.

Thank you for your feedback.
We will check them and change what needs to be more clear.
Hello commanders,
We've updated the rule clarifications for OGame.org!
Most of it is just a rewording of the existing clarifications, but we also made a few tweaks - especially around what’s allowed when playing under the same IP and a fixed trade ratio of 3/2/1.
📌 You can check out the new version here: [OGame.org - Game Rules Clarifications]
These updated clarifications will go into effect on **August 4 - 2025**.
Until then, the current (old) version will still be available here: [Game Rules - valid from 17.9.2012]
Let us know if you have any questions!

The CoMa is not in hidding mode, very far from it.
In a time of vacations, you might well know what is happening.
His work is not only resumed to check some things here and there, there's more running in the background that you don't know.
Again, thank you all for expressing your honest feelings, even if it's hard for us to read them.
You all have our sympatie.
The plan for merges will not be changed, sorry for that.
An optimal merge would be a lot of universes to Exodus and a brand new set of universes with a wide variety of specs, so anyone could have the opportunity to choose a new home for their accounts.
Of course it still has the question of high ranked accounts and on the lottery of everyone choice could create a gap even worst, because there's no possibility to create a limit in terms of points, but as already told was not accepted.
We don't know what the future holds, if it will be possible to change how global merges work or if Gameforge could bring some kind of solution that you could exit from your current universe to another, as was already discussed in the past, will poke some dudes to know if it's a dead end or not (maybe I'm dreaming and will beat with my head in the side table)...
However, I strongly suggest you, by xmas time or a little bit earlier to start to create a new post and give your suggestions for an ideal scenario of Merges, I'm sure it will be highly appreciated and it could be interesting to gather some ideas so we can ask for them, and maybe they could be accepted.
Nothing is lost, nothing is granted, but we did read every word that you write, we can only voice them.
A Bashing system has been implemented in the game with version 11.8.0, and it dictates what is allowed and not allowed:
Important to note:
Players who reached the bashing limit for a planet/moon can't join any ACS who attacks this planet/moon.
- This is to prevent that ACS will fail because a member reached the limit of the bashing protection
If the player has reached the full bashing protection counter, he won't be able to send espionage missions with other ships anymore towards the target where he reached the full counter. Normal espionage missions with only espionage probes is still possible.
Due to being a chaos universe, this system does not apply to universe Volans (174-en).
10. Terms and Conditions
Please take into account that in addition to the rules our terms and conditions also apply to our services and have to be adhered to at all times.
11. Exceptions
The game's community management reserves the right to have exceptions to these rules. In special cases (e.g. during events) game rules can be changed or suspended. The user group concerned will be informed when and if this is the case.
12. Support
Contact our Support staff for any problems you may have relating to the game.
Report issues as soon as you can, so we can offer you the best possible support. We can only provide support for issues which arose during the last 3 months.
9. Breach of the Rules
Any form, method, or attempt to unfairly gain personal profit from a staff member’s decision is strictly forbidden.
This includes, but is not limited to:
