    9. Breach of the Rules


    Any form, method, or attempt to unfairly gain personal profit from a staff member’s decision is strictly forbidden.

    This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Sending messages or taking actions with the sole purpose of obtaining a vacation mode ban (most commonly to avoid incoming attacks, but not exclusively).
    • Impersonating or claiming to be a staff member, with or without the intent of personal gain.

    8. Language



    The only official language across all OGame.org services is English.

    You are allowed to use other languages in private communication, such as when all your alliance members are Polish or you're messaging a Polish friend. That’s perfectly fine.

    However, when messaging other players you don’t know, you must use English only.

    If a non-English message is reported, you may receive a warning or a ban.


    The only characters allowed on Accounts, Planets, Alliance names and Alliance Tags are those of

    • 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
    • a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z
    • A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z
    • whitespaces / underscores / hyphens (not beginning / end of a word, not more than one in a row, not more than 3 in total)

    7. Insults and Spam


    :arrow: Treat everyone with courtesy and respect.

    Why? We want all OGame players to feel welcome here, even and especially when there’s a difference of opinions.



    Possible violations include:

    • The following subjects, described in detail below:
      - Hate Speech (which could result in an immediate ban)
      - Harassment
      - Trolling
    • Rudeness, name-calling, or other insults.
    • Making public accusations about another user or attempting to name and shame someone.
    • Treating someone with disrespect even if they’re being disrespectful.


    Hate Speech

    Hate Speech includes any discrimination or derogatory comments against a protected category. These categories include race, skin color, gender, sexuality, disability, genetics, country or national origin, and political or religious beliefs.


    Violations of this rule are strictly prohibited and may result in an immediate ban.

    Possible violations include:

    • Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or ableist content.
    • Casual racism or slurs.
    • Diminishing or dismissing these issues, or how others may experience or relate to them.
    • Statements meant to disregard or undermine these issues, including statements, content, or links associated with hate groups.
    • Endorsing or promoting any hate group.


    ------------------------------------


    Harassment

    Harassment includes any user-targeted disturbance, pattern of disrespect, unwanted communications, alienation, unwelcome advances, aggression, intimidation, or report retaliation. All behaviors that can be described as a personal or group attack, labeling, or insult are prohibited. This includes (but is not limited to):

    • Attacking people or groups you disagree with instead of challenging and debating their views. (or in cases of the views being actively harmful, continuing to engage instead of reporting it to a moderator)
    • Attempting to publicly accuse, call out, or "name and shame" another user, even when well-intentioned.
    • Attempting to publicly contact a user who you are otherwise unable to contact. (This will be taken as a sign that user does not wish to be contacted.)
    • Starting a public argument with another user over events that occurred outside this server.

    Trolling

    Trolling includes any messages deemed to be inflammatory, insincere, digressive, extraneous, or off-topic with the intent of provoking users into displaying emotional responses or manipulating others’ perceptions. Purposeful disruption or destructive communication will be considered a violation.




    :arrow: Spam

    Any situation intended to saturate a players interface through any method is forbidden.
    This includes but is not limited to:

    • Personal Messages spam - Tip: "One good message = okay. Ten junk messages = spam."
    • Probes spam
    • Overview spam
    • Advertising other games or content

    6. Real-life Threats


    Real-life threats are forbidden in OGame, even if you say it was "just a joke."


    Threatening someone's real safety (even jokingly) breaks the game’s Terms of Service and community guidelines. It’s treated as serious misconduct.

    Intent doesn't matter — if the message sounds like a real-life threat (e.g., violence, stalking, harassment), it can get you immediately banned.

    5. Bugusing


    Bugusing means intentionally exploiting a bug (glitch) in the game to gain an unfair advantage. Even if the bug is part of the game’s code, using it on purpose is still against the rules.

    It's strictly forbidden and can lead to punishment, including temporary or permanent bans.


    If you think you step on a bug, here's what you should do:

    1. Do not abuse the bug
      Stop using it immediately.
    2. Document the bug
      - Take screenshots,
      - Write down the exact steps that led to the bug (what you clicked, when it happened, any strange behavior)
      - If possible, copy error messages or anything unusual you notice
    3. Report the bug properly
      Support Ticket is the best way and mandatory for most of the cases, as personal account information might be needed

    Important:

    Never tell other players how to trigger the bug before it's fixed.
    Sharing exploits can make it worse and can also get you banned as a "helper" of bugusers.



    Some examples of bugusing (not limited to) :

    • Any method to prevent a player from sending, recalling, or slowing their fleet
      - Using any method to generate lag for a player in order to prevent them from sending, recalling, or slowing their fleet is not permitted.
      - It only applies if the defender fleet was returning to the moon/planet. If it was already landed, it is not considered bugusing because the defender could fleet save earlier, except if the bug is triggered a lot of times to cover all minutes of the attack.
    • Sensor phalanx spam
      It is forbidden to negatively influence the functionality of the Sensor phalanx by sending multiple missions on the same coordinates of one player.
      As “filling” the Sensor Phalanx is seen by many as game tactics, the following is allowed:
      - The defender is allowed to send unlimited number of own fleets.
      - He is also allowed to ask two other players to fly at the defending coordinates with 40 fleets in total (both combined).
      - If the defender is part of an alliance, he is allowed to ask two additional players (same alliance members) to fly at the defending coordinates with 40 fleets in total (both combined).
      - In consequence, there will be a total of 80 fleets from 4 different players, plus the defender’s fleets, depending on available slots.

      To be able to use the extra 40 fleets, the defender and the other two players need to be in the same alliance for at least 72 hours prior the action.
      It is the involved parties' responsibility to control the allowed limit.
      The use of this option must be reported to a Game Operator (GO) via the Support System as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours after the first of the 80+ fleets was sent


    • Bots, Macros, Automated Scripts etc. will be treated as Scripting unless otherwise expressly approved by Gameforge.

    4. Pushing


    Pushing refers to an illegal action where a lower-ranked player sends resources to a higher-ranked player without receiving fair value in return.

    This is against the rules because it gives unfair advantages to stronger players, disrupting the balance of the game.


    Due to being a chaos universe, this rule does not apply to universe Volans (EN 174).


    Bear in mind the following topics:

    • The only approved trade rate on OGame.org is 3:2:1, where: 1 unit of deuterium = 2 units of crystal or 3 units of metal
      • These trade rates are valid for all universes on OGame.org.
    • Players can donate food to others without limit, but it cannot be used in trades for metal, crystal, or deuterium if the recipient is a higher-ranked player.
    • While it is allowed to "pull" a lower-ranked player by giving them resources to support their growth, it is not allowed to provide enough resources that they surpass your rank — even if the resources are not spent. (*See extended Pulling explanation below.)
    • Recycling help and ACS splits:
      • It is recommended to notify a Game Operator when a lower-ranked player sends resources to a higher-ranked player.
      • ACS splits may be done as players agree, provided all involved contributed to the battle.
    • Bounties/Headhunts:
      • Must be approved by a Game Operator in advance.
      • They can only be paid after the bounty or headhunt conditions have been fulfilled.


    After a pushing ban is lifted, the resources must be returned to the pushing player, or a return must be arranged with your Game Operator.



    Note:
    If you receive resources — intentionally or unintentionally — from a lower-ranked player, you cannot keep them.

    Any pushing violation will apply 72 hours after the resources are received.

    Within that time, the resources must be returned to the player who sent them or you must contact a Game Operator to arrange a solution.



    *Pulling


    Resources sent from a stronger player to a weaker player without anything in return — known in-game as "pulling" — are limited to 500 million resources per week.

    This rule applies if any of the following conditions are met:

    • You are ranked within the Top 20 in Economy,

      OR

    • You have more than 2 billion Economy Points.

    Pulling addendum

    Note:

    No pulling is allowed until the 4th Monday after a new universe opens (i.e., for the first 3 weeks and 3 days following the universe opening)



    What to consider:

    • A player can only pull 500 million resources per week.

      However, a single player may receive multiple 500m pulls from different players.

    • It is forbidden to manipulate legal trade rates to circumvent pulling restrictions.
    • The pulling limit resets every Monday at 00:00:00 server time.
    • Moonshots are not subject to the pulling rule.
    • Under no circumstances may the pulled player surpass the pulling player in points.

      This includes unspent resources, which are also considered.

    • Activities such as trading, recycler help, ACS battles, profit sharing, etc., are not considered pulling, as the recipient is providing something of value in return.

      The usual fair play rules still apply to these actions.


    Note:

    After a ban for violating the pulling rule ends, the player has 72 hours to return any excess resources to a Game Operator.

    3. Account Sitting


    Account sitting is only permitted using "Sitting Codes", which are available in the Lobby.


    The sitter is allowed to:

    • Place the account into vacation mode
    • Perform a fleet save (a defensive action intended to protect the fleet)


    The sitter is not allowed to:

    • Perform any fleet or combat action that is not a genuine fleet save, including attacks, transports, espionage, Moon Destructions, expeditions, missile usage, etc.
    • Remove the account from vacation mode
    • Change any account details (e.g., nickname, planet/moon names, alliance membership, buddy list adjustments, etc.)

    2. Multi accounts


    The only exception to the multi accounts rule is universe Volans (EN 174) - as a chaos universe, all players are allowed to control as many accounts as they wish.


    Aside from Volans, and as an outcome of the Global Merges, we understand that players may occasionally find themselves controlling more than one account on the same server. This is accepted as long as only one account is actively played. The extra accounts may only be accessed to prevent deletion until they find a new home — only the login action is permitted.

    Please bear in mind that this exception applies only to your existing accounts and under very specific circumstances. It does not override the main rule ("Every player is allowed to control a single account per universe") nor does it allow the creation of new accounts (for filling, pushing, or other purposes) under the excuse of "I'm just playing one account as clarified."


    If you find yourself controlling more than one account in the same universe, you must contact the support staff so that proper notes can be added to the accounts.



    On the other hand, it is allowed for two or more players to play under the same IP address. If this is the case, we strongly recommend contacting the support staff.

    While playing under the same IP:

    • It is not allowed to log into each other's accounts, on purpose or accidentally
    • If two or more accounts are playing under one IP address, it is the responsibility of the players to ensure that separate play is evident
    • It is not allowed to attack each other for profit
    • It is not allowed to pull/push each other
    • Players are allowed to play in the same alliance
    • Players are allowed to trade with each other
    • Players are allowed to perform mutual moonshots, subject to the pushing rule

    1. Accounts


    Take account security seriously.

    The Lobby provides the option to add Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) as an additional layer of security — use it.

    Always use secure, unique passwords, and do not reuse your login credentials anywhere else.

    You are responsible for ensuring your account remains safe, secure, and under your control. Protect it!


    Remember to NEVER:

    • Share your login data with anyone.
    • Reuse your login data on any other site or service.
    • Provide your OGame login credentials to any script, addon, or third-party website that claims to "enhance your gameplay" or offers similar services.


    Account Trading:

    It is possible to gift or trade accounts using a token system.

    • After an account ownership change, a 15-day cooldown applies before a new token can be generated or redeemed.
    • You can find the token option in the Lobby menu under "Generate Gifting Code."

    Please note that all matters related to account trading are entirely the players' responsibility — the support staff does not assist with account trades.

    Furthermore, be advised that we do NOT intervene in cases of "account exchanges gone wrong."

    • If you create a gifting code and give it away, you are considered to have voluntarily transferred ownership of the account.
    • We will not "return" an account even if you and the recipient had a personal agreement (such as "he would return it after doing something for you") that was later broken.

    General information




    Please read the Game Rules and Terms & Conditions (T&C) carefully, and make sure to follow them.

    Be aware that these Clarifications apply to OGame.org only. They are intended to break down the rules for better understanding and do not replace any point mentioned in the official Game Rules or T&C.

    These rules cannot cover every possible situation. Support staff may take action in cases not explicitly covered by the listed rules, using their discretion.

    If you have any questions about the rules, regulations, or limitations mentioned in this document, please contact the support staff in advance.

    Important: Support staff and Gameforge employees will never ask for your account password.

    The following points are valid for all the Universes listed at OGame.org.

    The rules have been established to allow all players to enjoy fair gameplay within their universes.

    Please note, that for data confidentiality reasons, complaints and inquiries regarding particular accounts will only be discussed with their owners.


    OGame.org clarifications for each Rule point.



    1. Accounts

    The owner of a game account is the owner of the Lobby account where the game account is located.

    Each account is entitled to be played by a single player at any time, account sitting being the only exception.

    Game account exchanges to another user are only permitted using the ‘Account Gifting’ function within a Lobby account.

    Lobby accounts cannot be transferred to others.



    2. Multi Account

    Every player is allowed to control a single account per universe.

    If two or more accounts are usually, occasionally, or permanently being played from the same network (e.g. schools, universities, internet cafés) it is highly recommended to notify a GameOperator in advance at https://ogame.support.gameforge.com/en.



    3. Account Sitting

    ‘Account Sitting’ enables a player to allow another player to ‘sit’ their account, i.e. caretake it in their stead.

    An account may be sat for a maximum of 48 hours.

    Account sitting is only permitted using ‘Sitting Codes’, which are available in the Lobby. While the account is being sat, it cannot carry out battle activities with other players.

    Lobby details cannot be passed on to other players. Any infringement on these rules may lead to a permanent ban for the Lobby account for account sharing.



    4. Pushing

    No account is allowed to obtain unfair profit from the resources of a lower ranked player. Pushing is defined as, but not only limited to, the following: resources sent from a lower-ranked account to a higher-ranked one with nothing tangible in return.

    Setting up a battle to enable a higher-ranked account to obtain profit from a lower-ranked account or manipulating trade ratios for a higher-ranked account to gain an advantage through a lower ranked account are considered an unfair profit.

    Trades, recycling help & ACS splits must be completed within 72 hours.

    For all exceptions (bounties, etc.) a Game Operator should be informed via the Support system (https://ogame.support.gameforge.com/index.php?fld=en).



    5. Bugusing / Scripting

    Using a bug for anyone`s profit intentionally or not reporting a bug intentionally is strictly forbidden. Using a programme as an interface between the player and the game is prohibited. Any other form of automatically generated information created for malicious misuse is forbidden as well. Exceptions are listed in the forum of the game.



    6. Real-life threats

    Implying that you are going to locate and harm another player, team member, Gameforge representative, or any person that might be related in any way to any of the game services is forbidden.



    7. Insults and Spam

    Any kind of insult and spam are not allowed.



    8. Language

    The game’s publisher reserves the right to exclude players, who are not able to speak the game’s respective native language (e.g. in the game, forum or on the Discord server). Other permitted languages will be listed in the official game forum.



    9. Breach of the rules

    Any kind of breach of the rules will be punished with warnings up to a permanent ban of the account. The corresponding GameOperators decide the type and duration of punishments and are contact persons for bans.



    10. Terms and Conditions

    The terms and conditions are supplemented with these rules, and must be abided by at all times.



    11. Exceptions

    The game`s community management reserves the right to have exceptions to these rules. In special cases (e.g. during events) game rules can be changed or suspended. The user group concerned will be informed when and if this is the case.



    12. Support

    Contact our Support team for any problems you may have relating to the game.

    Report issues as soon as you can, so we can offer you the best possible support. We can only provide support for issues which arose during the last 3 months.

    Hello commanders!


    Starting, Thursday, 24th of July we will have a new rewards event starting at 14:00 CEST (all servers). The event consists of 7 tiers and will be active until Thursday, 31st of July 14:00 CEST.

    Each day you will have a series of tasks to achieve and each task will grant tritium. The maximum of tritium you can accumulate per day is 1400 (+20% if you have all commanding staff active).

    Having more than 2 servers with Eco 10x is not possible for now, maybe in the future, we will continue to ask to have at least 1 more universe.


    As already said, we had tried to have new servers for the targets universes, but the reply was negative.


    When the plans were made, some were not approved and only this scenario was accepted accordingly with some base factors, as active accounts on the universes, to keep a non ACS universe along with another universe with ACS with the same specs, where the players could choose betwwen them.


    I can ask it it's possible to have a different merger plan according with your feedback, or at least to have universe Zodiac as a target for Group 1.


    I would also to thank you for efforts and time to ellaborate some scenarios and suggest settings change, it was deeply appreciated.


    Please remember that after the merges you can ask for settings change, and if the poll runs well you can tailor the universe to your desired settings as long it's possible to change them.

    Can you present a plan that will be suitable for you?


    We don't know what can be done, but at least we can try.


    With the current scenario, will it be enough to change some universe specs, like changing the universe speed, or something else?


    Do not forget that Gameforge it's a company that needs incoming to keep the servers running and only them have that figures that we don't know, so some decisions can rely on that results.


    We can only voice your complains, nothing more, nothin less.

    Now, seriously, we had several options, included with new universes that, everyone, including the team loves to have and offer to you, but unfortunately it wasn't possible.

    Volans, as a chaos universe cannot be considered for any plan, it's like the limbo.


    I would love to bring better news that could please to you all, but no, we don't have.
