It all comes down to this: Developers quietly listened to the community for the past year. Read every suggestion, complaint, rant from players and decided to make changes. They are sad that players are unhappy.
So the core idea behind V8 is to make players happy and bring them back to the game. All the updates and new features are designed with the community in mind!
Also, V8 is so well tested that no bugs or broken features are expected in the release.

Display Morekeep in mind that some of us came from mensa which was also a 1x fleet uni and dorado was the only 1x option in the merge...

these were the options, bella 3x and fenrir 6x fleet speed, what would you have chosen? not sleeping or having moons down every night? no thank you..
the possibility of one day increasing the eco is the only reason why i still have an account in dorado..
multiple unis merged here with different specs, we dont need something completely different, but a tiny compromise in eco, what would be so bad?
Exactly, the like 5-6 1x fleet unis had to chose horrible settings and 1x fleet or picking a uni that is at a minimum 3x faster. No brainer there.
Also not sure why the people who bought accounts that came from speed unis after the merge are complaining about eco and research speed
