There were certain ludicrous folks back in the day who displayed a level of absurdity that was impossible to match. musashi miyamoto, pit viper comes to mind.
Fast forward to today, it's a different level of madness which has become the norm and people are ok with it. It's the era of mad hombres.
GKP is on the side of the folks who developed a skin thick enough that will still feel alright even if he successfully outdumbs his 2024 self. His team consists of your run of the mill one trick ponies who considers anything other than throwing thousands at their browser half baked, and believe that people who have had enough of sitting in the abyss of embarrassment they have dug up for themselves are disloyal.
A lot of smart people have got disillusioned by the level of madness displayed by the usual suspects and quit quietly. hedgefundpoe, Captain Phasma are the ones on top off my mind. At some point the landscape will shift, and those who have been riding high on their own supply will wake up with a hell of a hangover, starting to wonder where all the responsible folk will have gone.
I am afraid the usual suspects will be victimized by the sunk cost fallacy. some of them have over $50k or even $100k invested in their accounts over the years which will prevent them from quitting. I am extremely concerned that in the coming years we will see stuff that would make musashi miyamoto's McDonald's layoff due to too much OGame seem like a masterstroke in comparison.
And of course, it will be extremely inappropriate to have a giggle at their expense. lol.
Bonus points for a random Musashi and Jim (Pit Viper) reference.

Since mid afternoon yesterday the loading of any of the message pages take anything from 5 to 60 seconds to load. This happens on my PC, phone and tablet.

Players wishing for an increase to the DF percentages are understandable. Changes to fleet speed in what is now nearly a x2 are not really needed.
Personally I would like to see changes to one of the researches, specifically energy tech.
I'd like a heavy bomber even though it's completely unnecessary.

I am also having this issue - also, my Shipyard is producing defenses in an odd infinite loop - total time says 'done', but the queue is still there, counting down the build time for the individual units over and over again. I was wondering if that might be related - what are you guys' shipyards doing?
Damn . . .
So far Im not seeing that issue. I have just completed a queue and there are no problems for me.
And now the bug has cleared. Mods please close.

After an update I cannot access my fleet as the game says it is combat now and has been for 15 minutes.
Other people are reporting other fleet bugs too. Pull your finger out and fix this please.
Edit : It appears the problem is restricted to fleet on moons.
