Been a very long time since my last post. Mostly due to the fact that I've been slowly building back the fleet I lost. Now for the fun bit!

I reloed in system with ssaul on the last event and have been in and out of vmode. Watched last night for his fs pattern and got it nailed but he logged before it was due to land. Kept an eye on it and simply launched during an idle.

Anyone who supplies assassin doesn't get a fast rebuild from me but your res definitely helps me progress a little further.

How sweet it is! Revenge of the cargos!

Patty thought he'd be cocky and shoot some of his usual irritating messages over before launching 6 mds at the moon he'd previously popped. Me not caring enough about the game to lose actual sleep over it, I simply let my balls gang loose in his face, hit vmode and went to sleep. Tipped an ally mate off about the times and said to keep an eye out for a df on the off chance pat is in fact the same word isaac got warned for on my recent top 10. Turns out he is.

Well what a fun 24 hours this has been. Came out of vmode for my usual probe launch and get onlined routine only to be told my brother in arms big daddy Al has got some mds in the air. From 10 systems away. After a few nukes from us both the moon goes bang and see this tasty boy returning. Set timer ships and add in the heavies and wait for the fireworks. Pearl logged a bit before the hit and as all good players tend to do with game forges new and improved items - res packed his way up to 230k heavy lasers. Recalled the follow ups and let the main wave smack into em.

After a somewhat peaceful slumber I see that señor prawn has his balls out trying to impress all the other beefy lads again and so my moon goes bang. He decided to time back 40k lc with some deut with a few of his fishy friends. I guess those who can't fleet - bash. And those who can't bash mobile, insta gate and time back 40k cargoes with 46 million ships.

I guess Pearl paid for gkp and co's fuel costs so I'm not concerned with that.

Well hello Uni1! Bit of a long one here so strap in.

What started out as learner noticing huge jumps up the leader board and then his probes noticing huge amounts of res on a certain someone's moon he tried to see if he could get lucky (get it?). No dice. I spotted it again in the same place and tried myself as learner was in fs. No dice again. Damn.

Time for a more direct approach. Moon destruction. Now its fair to say I've never been one for sending mds where the % is less than 100. However I figured 5 waves of 30 and the 6th wave for 100% and maybe it'll work out well. It definitely did.

Lucky decided he wanted to try and thwart our plan and insta built around 6800 rips. Yes. Instad that many damn rips. RIP his wallet right?

We sent out a big cover fleet to protect the MDs and slowed just behind the first wave last second. Our protection fleet smashed into 1500 rips and my second wave of MDs blew the moon to bits. No rips lost. At least none of mine.

After this we saw his fleet was returning 4 hours later. So what started as a very early morning for learner now turned into a late night for me. I sent 4 timer ships all to hit 1 seconds after his fleet returned and the result of this is below.
