Regarding the DF it is created manually after the fight was created manually, and the attacker must provide the recyclers report of touching the DF that was not existent at the time. Everything else is assumption and does not really matter. If they haven't sent the rounds of recyclers and actually scoped it, the DF should still be there!

Or even Ripper financed this, it wouldn't surprise me if some time in future Mudas fleet gets recycled into Rippers ...
