Can GF force universe merges or transfers?
Yes. GF’s Terms of Service and usual policies allow them to merge or close servers at their discretion. For example, in other GF games like Runes of Magic and Ikariam, merges were performed automatically, with players having no say in which universe or speed they are moved to
In OGame, community feedback similarly shows players being moved into new universes at different speeds, with no choice, and no refund option
This is straight from Gameforge’s terms, so essentially neither my opinion, yours, nor anyone else’s really matters, and they clearly don’t care. The whole topic doesn’t make much sense because GF has never cared about players’ opinions, and they’re not going to start now. If we don’t like it, we can delete all our accounts, and they still won’t care. At the end of the day, all of this is for noting...

Now Yin players are offered to choose either drop their economy gain to stay on same speed or thrown into x5 fleetspeed which they never meant to play at?
I at least offer this; increase economy speed to x10 for universe 1, DF to 50% and turn doot into DF so it's actually a potential target and livable universe for both miners and fleeters. Because you made Fafnir x10 whilst it already has 60% DF and doot into DF on.
Please hear this and fix some universe's settings before its too late and that they will never be able to vote it up. I know you did it for Fafnir so it could be done for u1 as well.
Well, I agree with you on this one…
There are a few problems with the merge.
The first is that if you already have an account in Uni1, you’re forced to move to 2x or 5x.
If I want to keep my economy at 10x, I have no choice but to play at 5x fleet speed, which I really don’t enjoy and don't want to play!!
It makes me wonder: is there even any point in starting new universes?
Because sooner or later, you end up back in this same frustrating situation — stuck with speed settings you don’t want and no option to stay at 1x.I understand that things can’t always be fair for everyone, but this isn’t the first time something like this has happened… the same happened when we had to leave Virgo...

David vs Goliath
Monday morning kicked off the first round of bashing on all my pl and moon takedowns. DrBatDad went all in, and on Tuesday morning, he kept going with Bleach jumping in to help him with an IMPs.
This time, l shortened my FS and was hoping for a chance to ninja something.
When I woke up, the attacks were already coming in, and the IPMs were flying. I jumped to the moon and lowered my fleet to catch the second, third, and fourth waves.
If I had more fleet, I could’ve taken down all 600k BCs—but I’m still happy with how it turned out. Managed to ninja two waves of 100k BCs each, and while the third wave was a bit painful, it ended in a small profit draw.
This morning, Bleach thought he’d finally take down my moons… but that didn’t happen
because l managed to insta few plasmas on the moon for a draw. He even recalled his second attempt on the other moon just before I could ninja him
It was great fun, especially on Tuesday. DrBatDad and I had a good laugh about it afterwards—no hard feelings at all

Hi everyone,
This isn’t anything big or particularly special at this stage—I’m just one of many who’ve managed to ninja him.
I hadn’t planned to post, but I pulled off a ninja last night and thought I’d share. Also, Merry Christmas to all the haters out there! 🎄
I haven’t had much time for the game over the last year or so, but I decided to come out of V-mode last night. I finished my fleet save early, and when my girlfriend left around 4:30 AM, I logged in to check my account again—just in case.
To my surprise, I had over 80 messages and 15+ incoming attacks. Luckily, I still had a few resource packs from events and was able to insta-build some fleet. From there, things got easier. My attacker had already bashed seven of my planets, even though I’d removed the resources from six of them. He didn’t even bother to check again and just kept coming.
Long story short, the ninja worked
