TL;DR:

• The Context: Top-ranked players Petar and Fran targeted me as the last active fleet in the Top 25.
• The Hunt: They destroyed my moons and caught me on a "deploy" mission.
• The Recall: I recalled the deployment under heavy slot spam while they watched with Phalanx to catch my return time.
• The Ninja: Just before their main fleet's impact, Petar sent 276 RIPs to clear my moon again and prevent any support. Director K jumped in for a ninja: Petar lost 2.76B units.
• The Escape: Their follow-up hit on my planet was off by a few seconds. I escaped by less than a second.

Lately, Petar and Fran have been too active, too aggressive, we can see that from their posts here and from their rise in the rankings. One by one, they eliminated fleets from the top. Knowing that deformity was banned (1st place and the only one that could have resisted them), I was looking at the military rankings yesterday and I was the only active player left in the top 25 that they could have attacked. I thought about it, knowing that they wanted to take advantage of the leader's absence, but I still didn't really think they would do it.

Surprise!!!

In the morning I saw the warning icon. But I thought it was just a spy. I was calm because I knew the fleet would arrive much later. I look closer, I see that I don't have 3 months left. Oops, I expand the fleet, I see an attack on my deploy.

I checked the reports and found that Petar hit me 3 times with 160, 175 and 227 RIP. He lost ~4 million points in that hour. I lost 1 million (I had important buildings and defenses there).

What to do now? I activated all the extra fleet slots available, sent a bunch of transport and deployment fleets to spam my overview, and asked Director K to do the same. There were about 50 slots ahead of my main fleet. After an hour, with about 20 minutes left, I canceled the deployment.

All day I planned to die like a hero, putting everything into this battle, trying to plan how to increase their damage as much as possible. I got lucky with the artifact events, where I had the chance to get the General class and a few other items that strengthened my plan.

Just an hour before the main attack, Petar sent a RIPs to destroy my moon again, to make sure no one would help me (who?!?!?!). It was a good chance, as Director K placed his fleet at the perfect point between Petar's fleet and the RIPs.

From this ninja, this combat report was created. with this ... Petar lost 6.5mln military points, a lot of deuterium to move that huge fleet and probably some items and DM for instant moon buildings. Oh, and a white night!!!

Later, he sends his cavalry to attack my recalled fleet. I saw it. I burst out laughing.. There were many seconds between the two. But shortly after, Frank launched another attack, much better, but I thought I still had time to escape. I started testing, simulating whether I could fly in time instead of trying to consolidate my defenses and transform a sacrifice in kamikaze hit... until I realized that Petar would come with a second wave and crush me. I chose to take the risk to escape. I trained hard before impact. In the end, I think I escaped with less than a second left.

After this day... just vmode. I need a break. I was lucky once, I won't force it again

Roonie was the only fair player there, working hard for his fleet, not buying it. So, he deserves kudos for that.

Anyone who has a fleet like this and loses it, is a noob. the only excuse should be if he gets caught through MD and recalled deploy, but that's probably not the case here.

Hello guys!!! Coming from Wurren, where I learned all sorts of tricks thanks to the DOOM team, (thanks for this, seriously) I tried to find "a victim" for the beginning of the server. It didn't take long and I didn't have to do anything. Being positioned nearby, Chickenrun had several attack attempts, including two from the system, probably the failures making him become even more aggressive against me. At least 50 espionage attempts from him, daily.

I made the plan, borrowed resources, put some ships in the shypiard and waited for him. It's no secret, everyone got 3 1-day detroids (with expiration date), so I tried to make the most of them.

And I waited, and waited, and he didn't come. Before the fleetsave for the night, I had to use the detroids to prevent the ships from being built overnight, so all the effort was in vain

But, a day after: he lost his patience and came again. I was very lucky, my expos were returning just before his attack, so I received all the possible help from my fleet. All that remained was to throw the secret weapon into the battle in time: dezzy!!

I waited impatiently for the last seconds, jumped, crashed!!! Almost nothing left on both sides. Unfortunately for him, this time he only sent 20k recyclers... for a total of 64k. In any case, he took most of the deuterium (230m metal / 230m crystal / 230m deut), so the actual losses are ~1.3 billion.

In the end... he was very sporting, thanks for that. A big loss, but he's already recovered, so he's started spying again.
