jub 1 pathfinder doubles the gains, if disco or not.
i don't carry a prob with me, so I don't have to choose between espionage or expo mission everytime ^^
if you send exp just from one planet/moon it may make sense, just to check density, otherwise its easier just to fill 16 and enter to send expeditions imo

Having played in uni 1 on and off since 2005ish I would like to say I like uni 1 just how it is
Id consider though 1x fleet, 1x eco, 1x research, 30% DF, oh wait that was old ogame.....
You want 1x with more DF, theres Mathilde and Ozone, Ozone even has lower deut
