It's assigned to the planet, which means that any moon on that planet will get the cooldown.
You can relocate a planet with moon, destroy the moon, build a new one and that new one will still have the cooldown.

Look on discord. It's possible to get a 500 field planet.

I don't know how long it takes but I remember to be in an alliance we're the founder was inactive and there an option to take his place. But certainly it is more than 10 days.

To see a fleet coming from such a wide universe and don't be able to change your fleet flight is not unrealistic compared to the option to see it just when it is too late to do something and have everything completely destroyed. Why do defense restore? Wouldn't it be more realistic if you had zero defences after some attacks?
You are suggesting that you could only attack offline people. That is unreasonable.

Will you get them and I will loose them?
Imagine I give you an account with 20 planets. What happens? Do I loose that achievement? Will you get that achievement?

What is the point of not being a possible target?
Make yourself not profitable.

You cannot expect to start an acc now and compete with 10y accs. But you can compete first with smaller accs and grow up.
Besides, you would enjoy this game more if your objective is not focus on points but other stuff.
Top fleets don't care about points, just about hits.
Top miners just care about growing continuously.
Who cares how many points you have if you ninja someone bigger? That is more exciting than be number one.

If I recall, in the very early days of ogame colonies could reach more than 360 fields. Should accs that old be cut?
This is not a flaw. It is just a game feature you need to adapt.

This makes no sense.
If you have a friend with a big acc who wants to quit, why ask him to waste his acc as a farm and not go vmode until ready to play again or to give the acc to someone who would play it.
It is hurtful to see big accounts go to the garbage...
I had my acc in vmode since march and decided to play again in december. Would I really play again if I found all my planets without any defence or any fleet? I just pick up where I left.
What you are really stating is some sort of poor pushing scheme. I'm sure you can have better ideas for that if you are following that road...

But I have not received any message from any of them. And why the need for so many? One was not enough?
I have received messages to similar ogame games in other servers but not in SI yet.
I gess they are bots and soon they will become inactive and deleted. Maybe the point is not to spam but to cause some other damage.

This guy was playing the vmode attacker style. Enjoying a big advantage in his fleet he would come out of vmode and crash me. Unfortunately I did not save his attacks, or I would post them too. But I must say that probably I have not made him enough damage to compensate his. But when he got my whole fleet I decided to turn things around and made the same to him. I went to vmode and come out once in a while and crash what I can. I cannot get even near his main fleet as it is 8x my fleet. But yesterday I did it once and he went vmode again.
