I like this game, love the effort that was put in JJMonti

I made a little blunt script for this game (see attachment).
I know, not the cleanest code, but it did the work!Hope to see more games!

It appears my guess was wrong. Thought the 9th clue would be that it is a prime number.
My final guess: 7469 -
Few guesses left and I think I know what the next clue is. So heads up everyone, make your guesses naow!

It's not a matter of hate, it's a matter of, I am playing right now on a x5 war fleet speed server, Thuban. Why would I want to downgrade my settings? I want to raise them, or at the very bare minimum, keep them as is. Nothing else is acceptable, because I joined this server for the very reason that it has x5 war fleet speed. Downgrading => I'm quitting. 0 flexibility interests me on this subject. No reason to be flexible, I joined for it, I'm done if it's not there anymore.
What is the difference between x4 and x5 you say? You can make all the graphs you want, but at the end of the day it is a difference of minutes, on each and every singular attack. Multiply that by 1 million attacks. Quite a lot of extra minutes, right?
Not everyone is a general class with level 100 plasma drives and level 50 hyperspace drives, people want to have time to be able to do things without having to take a free day from work to do so, free days should be for actual vacation, not vacation-mode-abuse-stuff that gameforge encourages by not fixing vacation mode problems, but actual real life vacation.
Take things away => no reason to stay. Very basic stuff.
I get what you are saying that changes to something that you think is good/perfect sucks. I am just saying that to me it wouldn't matter if it was speed factor 4,5 6 or 10 and why I am not fully get it as I have more time (probably). This is just my opinion. But know this: there will always be changes in the future. For now at least option D doesn't change Thuban settings so you are happy with it I guess?
Would love to see you do 1 million attacks! Especially with attack that takes 12 min or more (attack + return)
It wasn't letting me edit my above post so I'm double posting to add something:
Well one thing is for sure, if 1 million attacks is a goal that exists somewhere, it would certainly happen quicker in an x5 fleet speed environment, rather than in an x4 fleet speed environment, right?
6 minute one-way-attack-time? Not everyone is a general, and not even rank 30 Thuban generals have 6 minute attacks all the time, and not everyone has dark matter to relocate on top of the ceiling of the house of some target player. The game doesn't exist only when you have billions of points on the leaderboard and are a general, it exists before that too you know? People want to have time to be able to see attacks through even when they aren't a high rank general, and if it takes too long they cannot do that at all.
It takes time to reach those fast speeds, but it is nice that it becomes possible eventually, it's a good reward for playing the game a long time, to be able to attack fast eventually.
Until those points are reached though, it sure is nice to be able to have some less than 1 hour total back-forward attacks as non-general, instead of over 1 hour.
Option E looks best now among the mentioned ones.
First off, I hear you and acknowledge your opinion. But, it looks like I have to spell it out for you what 1 million attacks would mean for someone who has little time to play.
The 6 min was an brutally low average (meant as a 5x speed factor) just to make you realize how much time 1 million attacks would take... So lets do the numbers. Say you send 5 attacks simultaneously and do that 20 times per day. That would mean 20*12 = 240 min per day (or 4 hours). As you said, you don't have much time and let us assume you have about 5 hours a day to play to fit this 4 hours attacks. To reach 1 million attacks you would need to do this 10 000 days (1 000 000/100), or roughly 27 years. Again this is with the super mega fast 6 min one way trip. Say it takes 12 min instead, the number becomes twice as much (54 years). To compare it with a speed factor 4 it would conservatively add 2 min one way trip. Making it 6 hours 40 min playtime per day as a comparison. You can obviously switch the numbers around like saying you send 10 attacks 10 times a day. Then the outcome would be 13.5 years etc.
But if time is so relevant for you, why aren't you playing general? Disco would be a waste as you don't have the time to send expos all day, right? So I assume you play collector? Switching to general will gain like 1 min at those speeds. And you can always buff some ships with lifeform even though you are not playing as general.
Anyway, I hope you find a suitable choice that makes you happy.
You may hear the words used, which, since you want to be so literal, you don't actually hear them, as they are text, you read them instead, but anyway, you may "hear" the words and even acknowledge them, but you don't seem to understand the meaning behind them.
The idea with the 1 million, is to make you see that time adds up, and every little bit matters, and the more you send out attacks, the more that extra time necessary adds up.
Long story short, faster fleet speed allows you to spend less time for the same results, instead of ADDING TIME for the same result, which you so freely do in text in little fun calculations, but you don't seem to understand that some people simply don't have much time available, so they can't simply add random amounts of time to compensate for lower fleet speeds, like you so easily are doing in text form.
"Oh just spend an extra x hours per day and it's the same lol" ... How about no, because we can't? ...
Again it's fine to see things differently and to have different preferences, but I'm not going to the x1 players and telling them, "hey, don't play x1", so why should they tell me "hey, don't play x5"?
I have time to play on x5 or more, not on less, so I want x5 or more, not less. It's not complicated.
Ironic. You think I don't understand you and yet you don't comprehend the things I lay forward... Communication is hard, especially when you don't write or say exactly what you mean. If you continue to be this slippery, I wish you best of luck in having a discourse. To be clear: You do you and I am not saying you should do otherwise.
To answer a bit of what you said: It was an example (should be understood). As in something to base the discussion. I am saying it adds up. I just don't think the difference is that big per attack, but you do. It is fine that you do that, so why do you persist in thinking that I don't think you do? And, I didn't sat that you should spend extra time, it was a comparison... Hope this is clear enough for you.
When did I say "don't play x5"? But what I do ask: why not play general? You say/imply (or whatever you trying to do) that every bit matters. -

The speed factors are fine, even though I don't get the hate for speed factor 4 compared to 5. It ain't that much of a difference (to me at least). To see the difference, see the plot below. This is the flight speed for a battlecruiser flying 1 - 100 systems away. The full lines have hyperspace drive 15 and the dashed have lvl 20. No LF tech included and not general class either. Naturally, adding more speed shifts the lines downward. As further down you go, the smaller difference it is.

First off, thank you for starting this discussion

At the moment I prefer option D. Would like to see some changes though.
I know U1 seems to be 'holy' but why can't it have higher DF? If I recall correctly, isn't there a possibility to make changes after merge if the U1 community deem it so? For now it seems U1 community vote against the changes but there some who want a change. So to reiterate: can't U1 be an exodus uni?
In addition, it seems like they are getting a circular uni? I thought it was linear.
That being said, make new A (option D) to a miner uni. As in lower DF % for new A and increase DF for U1. As for the others, I'd hope to see higher DF. The speed factors are fine, even though I don't get the hate for speed factor 4 compared to 5. It ain't that much of a difference (to me at least). To see the difference, see the plot below.
