Personally I have no issues with some players having an advantage from spending money as long as it's reasonable. On Thuban though, this kinda went out of control imho killing the uni.

As a returning player I've been wondering why is .org forum/board so dead, discord is nice for quick chat but it's horrible for longer posts and guides.

Finally an interesting topic in months and it gets instantly closed by Mods, for what? At best light provocation, since when have ogame players become so soft?
No, seriously, how do you expect to keep new players when all the guides on forum are outdated, youtube videos are literally non-existent for various reasons and then Discord is just awful to scroll through.
Certainly keeping forum dead is a right way to go? At this point the only reason I have to check board is to see what events are upcoming and check what kind of fleets are running around.
Seems like you are actively discoraging player interactions, this used to be what game was about back in the day. The stories of countless sleepless nights waiting for a perfect time to strike, years of rivalries, salt, emotions, wars... Those were the things that kept servers alive and playerbase active... -
