In the very old times, Vmoded players were able to see galaxies and its activity. this brought some players to hide like a hunter behind a bush, see for act, get active, raid, then go back to blue.

That's why now we can't see galaxies while vmoded, but, with the new internet techs, this can be fixed using other players as scouts.

Also I love last Cathedral's post. he's ever going a point beyond with his posts.

Case this go ahead, for me a good point is just about to set up a time of ban attack after leaving v-mode, but I don't see some points.

1.- if this applies for individuals, should it be about fleeting, or also to any kind of attack

2.- A pure miner style takes the ppl to watch their own account, and not to pay attention to the surrounding SS, which makes no sense to this.

3.- Yes, it's absolutely a game. But it requires a lof of own discipline to grow the account properly without get constantly attacked. Here Pagan's post has a full sense

4.- V-mode feature is a good point to cool down the own stress, it's ever been. Other games hadn't it, and this brought the players to fast definitely abandon, RL is more important.

Said all that, growing an account just using the wallet, and minimizing risk hiding behind vmode till something interesting happens is IMO not fair game.

Reward active players is a very good way, I think, and a hard job for GF, profiling ideas and developing soft to apply them. GF is finally a business, so the staff have to decide what to do about this.
