Yes. Theres only so far expos can go. Genral is pretty limited class.

My mines are 44-36-39 and I’m not using 1100 crawlers. The class change items look like they’re going to keep rolling out with rewards so your best bet is probably to build around 900 per planet and switch back.
1100 is what you will use as collector on 150% energy consumption ;). Hard cap on how much extra production crawlers can give - 50%

Pretty much sounds like that. Extremely powerful if true, I had the same idea as you did(switching classes to build crawlers) this just makes your prep for permanently switching to miner so much more closer.
