I don't think fleeting needs to be any harder than it currently is, isn't there already lack of targets? Don't know, I'm a miner.

How does it work (same with researches) if I had that thing being built/researched? Will it complete the level, or complete the level and give me back resources, or complete next level?
The option to select that reward should be greyed out in that case, so not possible to choose.

No, it upgrades that planet's mine directly you were on when you selected the reward. Check every single planet to be sure.

Agree with you that class balance is a bit weird and off. It was made to encourage people to use class change items obviously, but what it achieves is frustrate new players to quit the game.
I hope you come back and try a more relaxed way of playing this game, collector maybe?

Would like to see this, although it was probably added for a reason. Collector is very weak in the early game, same as General.

One could play a one planet challenge if they wanted to, nothing is mandatory.
On topic and to summarize, the most controversial area of the update seems to be the AI-art and how it doesn't feel unique or in the style of OGame.

Add a text box to player profiles where you can leave a personal message for visitors to read. Wouldn't that be fun?

99% of the people will never get there. Why create content for the 1%?
The 1% is the group that spends the most on this game and is likely willing to do so in the future.
It's Just cosmetics though you can choose to ignore, some AI generated avatars, planet skins and titles.Similarly you can't compete on the points highscores against the 1%, there's no difference here.

What if instead of unlocked avatars there would be trophies that improve in look the more unlocks you have on a set of achievements.
Trophies would be displayed on the profile page, either all of them or players can choose what to display.
For avatars we could upload our own to make the player profile look personal.
I'd look at something like these all day over what GameForge just provided.
