Read my alliance page for the basics...
I just wanted to start Ogame again during the pandemic.... Founded the Band of the Red Hand with my rl brother Beltalowda.
We had a series of run ins with Sage and his crew back in Xanthippe. That made my alliance stronger.
Then we came to Vega last spring... The original accounts (now banned) owned by Asto and song bashed us from day 1.
Been fighting from that day to this. Not many could fight wars off and on for a year against the OG whales (Eagles) of Vega.
Got lucky and met Iceman and Uberman. Our 3 alliances fought a great war against the less-than-honest opponents detailed in this thread...
We are still playing. They are not.

These are all the players our 3 alliances declared War on.
Many have switched between alliances
All but 4 or 5 have stayed in V Mode
Not all of these are China accounts.
Some are eastern European.
All are afraid to log in.

They all went V Mode a day or so before admin did the maintenance in the lobby.... They did SOMETHING and now ALL the Chinese players in Vega - and a few others- are seemingly afraid to log in....
I wonder why?

Well the eagles are in hiding buddy... Not from me I admit that.
They are hiding fearing a ban is my guess....
But I think you are correct. They will be back.

All 3 alliances that declared war on the players-now-in-Vmode took hits. We lost on the fleet side of the war I must admit.
HOWEVER now nearly all of the clowns we fought are in V mode.
There is more than one way to win, and fleet was never the most realistic.
By fighting as one our great 3 alliance compact kept the pressure on whoever/whatever is playing those accounts.
We submitted countless tickets (and complaints) to admin detailing the unmentionable game play issues.
Then the most beautiful maintenance I have ever seen was done last week....
Song and the rest have been in V mode for the longest stretch I can ever remember since then.
dude your loss and the losses of our Warband was not in vain it seems.
We might not have won a fleeting war, but now Vega is free from our Skynet Overlords
