Hi everyone!
I've gone and got myself a job that requires me to drop OGame due to lots of time needed :/
I'm looking to give away my account so that it doesn't go to waste.
- Uni: Vega
- 9.15 mil points(rank 430-440),
- 9 planets, 1 moon,
- Most planets have mines around level 30
- Discoverer class(switch to Collector and Discoverer available in inventory),
- Researcher alliance
- Planets grouped together in two systems in the same galaxy(galaxy 3).
- - Positions 1, 8(has moon), 15 taken in first system.
- - Positions 1, 8 taken in second system.
- - Proximity to good transport raid inactives(notes in account)
Swedish speakers preferred due to being founder of one of the swedish alliances in Vega.

I agree, I like the forever grind of finding life forms for the experience bonus as well. I still want more than one moon! And moon mining as well, that should have been a part of the game from day 1. Moon mining to the point of MD is probably the most realistic thing Ogame could do... God knows that is what we will probably do.
In regards to that: What does XP and levels actually do?

When your population falls below what is needed for a research, then that research will no longer give you it's bonus, even if it is selected and upgraded, you must have population for it to be in effect. So while you could select it, upgrade it and have it work for a few hours. It really wouldn't make much of a difference since you'd lose it again, until you reach the population needed. It is a bug, but it's not problematic for the gameplay of lifeforms.
I meant that the bug gives certain players an unfair advantage, even if it's only small, if they can access tech before they should be reaching the building level that would give the population level needed for it

It's still a bug, though. Should be removed regardless
Furthermore, it grants advantages compared to other players if it, as you say, appears inconsistently. If the difference it makes is the difference between gaining a LF-tech slot or not then you will have gotten a techslot before you should have, which throws the game off balance.

The "problem" with more available lifeforms than you have capacity for is not a new bug. It started as the MCO update was introduced, it was just never fixed. I doubt anyone would like it to be fixed to be honest. You are just seeing the old bug interact with the new stuff.
I'm not following, what do you mean?

1. More people live on a planet then there is living space for.
2. Rounding off the number of the "Hungry" value would make it less of an eyesore.
3. Food is consumed at a slower rate than the automatic reduction while having a screeen up. If you refresh the page the amount of food in storage shown will go up
4. Food production stops before reaching max storage capacity sometimes.
5. The tech page for almost every Lifeform building needs to be looked over. Billions of percents are hardly helpful in calculating storage capacity for anything(example attached is Kaelesh Sanctuary)
6. Useless metrics would be nice to cut as well(example attached is Kaelesh Chrysalis Accelerator)

I'm getting real slimshady vibes here XD
Nice hit

Sure, where do you need it?
My nick is MayoTroll, and I'd like a moon at 3:30:8 in exchange
Lets make the deal that moonshot for moonshot.
If one of us gets a moon before the other the one who's got the moon one gets the DF for any subsequent moonshots

I think that LF is better in the long run than in the beginning. The bonuses are weak, so you need several planets with the same lifeform tech for it to make any sense. It's def geared towars late game, but it can also add quite a bit as soon as you'er over 1mil points. The Humans metal-booster, the Roc'tal energy and production buildings, etc. It's actually quite useful imo, and I enjoy the opportunities to customize your acc.
That said I agree the clicking is absurd. I particularly don't like that you now have to go through every planet 4 times(Res, Facilities, LF buildings, LF Research) + research for every one of the different screens before you cen get to dealing with fleets. They should combine the facility, LF building and the res screens. Also the two research screens should be combined.

Thanks for dealing with the Kim accounts. They were really giving me a hard time, and I'm nowhere near that level of skill or power. It's nice that you guys are cleaning out the uni

Is it just me not getting any crystal from expeditions lately?
I've gotten almost ~500mil metal in total metal haul lately, but only ~10 mil crystal in total from expeditions this last week.
I'm putting it all in armor research and RL's, but this is getting ridiculous. Even the deut haul is better.
If I didn't spend the metal it'd be like 100mil metal sitting next to 20k crystal on every planet lmao

I'm thinking that several queues can be displayed on one page, like in the overview page

In regards to the law question I'd say it all depends of whether what gets you banned legally constitutes a breach of contract. This will most likely have to be resolved in the CJEU, since Ogame falls under the regulations of one digital service or another. Digital services have been regulated from the Union level for some time now.

Hi!
So, now that Lifeforms is out I'd like to make a few suggestions:
The Facilities, Lifeforms(buildings), and Resource tabs should be merged into one tab. It's time consuming and annoying to be switching tabs constantly to check both building queues.
Layoutwise the animation for facilities should be stacked below the one for resources with the associated buildings' buttons below. There is no animation for lifeform buikdings, so that can be left out.
The same should be done with research. Regular research should have the lifeform research below it. Here you only need one the animation that's up for research.
Lastly I'd like to point out that the animation for the resource tab isn't working. The central "command hub" that connects all the buildings is not in the layer below those of the crystal and metal mines, which looks bad when the energy cables to the mines clips in under the hub layer instead of over it, like it should.
