do not place it slot 4, miners need that for the civilian ship tech. currently in slot 5, they already have to make the choice between the most powerful of all production techs or orbital den. slot 1 is a deut production tech and envoys, and nobody needs more than one planet with envoy techs, so deut production is the choice for every planet beyond the homeworld. the playstyle that benefits the most from orbital den are the fleeters using packs, with just a 5 planets level 30 brings their storages up to hundreds of billions if not trillions of capacity, and if anything this choice should be moved to a location that makes them choose between metal production, or ship buffs.

several researches left out of current tech tree, computer tech, IRN, hyperspace, and all three drives. while im not a major fan of adding the drives, a computer tech cost reduction tech or IRN boost is something i would like to see.

tempus fugit, thanks for the clarity.

slight mix up, you are technically correct, the best kind of correct.

40% df no deut, everything else stays the same. we got close to 50% last time, 3 or 4 votes(?), like tochint suggested lets try a little foreplay first and not try to ram it all in at once.....

70% is required to pass, not 50%.
I feel like any change that does not include an increase in ECO is doomed to fail.

The silent minority of miners will never vote to increase DF on it's own, and even deut to DF I don't see passing either.

So I think the only way to pass this is tied to an eco increase, or we can vote (september I think?), fail and then have to wait another 6 months to try again.

as usual you misread what im saying yomi, we got close to 50% DF, we were 3 or 4 votes away

server bonus and planet slot are multiplicative with base mine production, EVERYTHING else is its own line item in the resource tab, each line item is generating extra res completely seperate from the other items, and everything gets add together for the final output. example: after server setting and planet slot you make 1000 metal per hour from your mine, the geologist will produce 100 metal per hour, the crawlers will produce 500 per hour, and the plasma will produce 200 metal per hour. add them all together, 1000+100+500+200= 1800 metal per hour. everything works this way items, lifeforms, crawlers, class bonuses etc, only server settings and planet slots are multiplicative.

i know a lot more than you might think my guy. dont get me started on what ive seen you do with harrassing certain members of the staff via discord.... i keep receipts.

The solution is easy. Only allow 1 account per lobby in the same uni at a time. This really isn't rocket science. Its on the individual player to keep their own account active, not being deleted/ GYing and or finding a new player who doesn't already play this uni. You should not be able to pass the responsibility of finding a new owner to someone else. Do it your self. You should also not be able to collect accounts like infinity stones and use them to clog your systems so you can sleep longer at night. Using the explanation of "we have no owner" and can't find one is complete bullshit btw when the account has 0 mines, just astro or barely anything at all. The account is clearly a blocker and someone can build that account in <2 days if they wanted to and have better slots. You're trying to circumvent the rules, and now the loophole has been patched and now your here throwing a temper tantrum to the COMA who is just trying to promote fair play.

Want a blocker? Find someone who does not play this uni who will control it themselves and keep it active. I don't understand what the issue is. Well I do understand, but it shouldn't be that way. JuSt PlAy ThE GaMe LiKe ItS InTeNdEd or whatever it is that chaosk says.

I seriously can't believe im defending Prongs here, but common sense is common sense. This is a no brainer positive change .Thank you Prongs for being the best COMA we have ever had and responding here to keep transparency alive.

your entire alliance benefitted from the ability to hot swap accounts, you included..... funny how fast some of the largest abusers like to point fingers at people, that do everything to make sure they are staying with in the rules. an entire group of people, so hell bent on finding loopholes and blind spots in the system, the absolute kings of whataboutism, currency exploits, push hits, trade manipulation, constantly yelling at the top of their lungs.... why dont you go make some more fake ninja profiles under other peoples names and then spread that around the community, instead of interfering with the adults talking.

Never seen a drug addict steal someones wallet and then help the victim look for it?

already ahead of you on that, the rewards suck this go around anyways. no skin off my cheeks to just avoid doing certain tasks

    "...just do it."

I just have a suggestion to make sure votes are fair, a player account should be older than 30 days in a uni to be able to vote on a setting change. This is to keep someone from joining multiple account to swing the vote in their favor. And I say 30 days because that's how long this process takes more or less from start to end.

we have been told doing this is can result in being banned, hopefully the staff has some way to enforce....

Best All-Around Player: feathers mcgraw, enough said

Best/most Productive Fleeter: have to give this to Amotion

Best/most Productive Miner: KS-testudo, with honorable mention to nischu

Best Inactive Farmer: Seraph, hands down.

Most Missed Player: we've had several people leave us this year. Ice, Spaulding, Jex are my top 3

Best Newcomer: this is difficult but i can think of four names that come to mind. Shryke, Devitt, Cicada, kingsize

Best Hit of 2024: seems like we have a good one happen about once a month, hard to pick one

Best Solo Hit: too many good ones between the top fleeters of this uni. there are a lot of hits that we never see on the boards

Best ACS/Team effort: muppets vs amotion, solid attempt, but amotion slipped away like a greased pig

Most Persistent Rebuilder: moloch comes to mind

Best Alliance Growth: guild because of a 20bn ship points error in our favor (thanks mmorpg)

    Most Improved Fleetsaver: sagacious

Nicest Player: sagacious, she takes the time to be nice to everyone, even if they dont deserve it and try to slander her name

Smartest Player: KS-testudo, from chemistry and math, other games we share a love for, to mining and lifeforms. you can always expect an informed and sound take from him

Most Dependable Player: pagan, not only can his team depend on this rock, but he has been there for other players time and time again.

Most Controversial Player: kevlard, you have trolled your way to the top of this category. so congratz on being the best of the worst

the point you are bringing up is valid, the balance of the game is very important. but you shouldnt be using solar sats at this stage of the game and, even if you are, the difference between 30% to 50% still doesnt equate to what changes lifeforms has brought with the increase of cargo capacity. the reason i have been steadfast against the addition of deut to DF is for the same reason, it allows people to inflate their fleet to the point that economy doesnt matter even more than has been allowed by packs w/ merching. the balance of the game has been altered beyond repair by direct monetary influence. that being said, running the numbers you are no more likely to be hit at 50% than 30%, the reason for this is because (and im just taking a shot in the dark) you are currently pumping out 2bn metal per day along with 350-400mn C and D. your greatest concern has nothing to do with the 1000 m and c per cargo, but the pure volume of resources you are carrying at any moment is. that volume doesnt increase or decrease based on DF %. you will remain a juicy target whether this vote passes or fails, and based on my understanding you will remain the target of choice because of your lack of fleet to pure resource volume, if it fails. by giving the fleeters more incentive to target one another you will be looked at with less vigor (even if the reduction is only by 20%). and as for your issues with deathstars, maybe doom needs to be more active to help you with that or find an alliance that will. people dont join uni 1 for the ease of mining. they come here for the challenge of playing with the best and if the way you are playing, isnt up to snuff, then i suggest you adapt.
