There it is, the biggest fight in the universe. The real solo top 1 that I was waiting for.
It is with a certain emotion that I write these few lines for what is certainly my final fight on Ogame.
As some people have known for some time, my adventure is coming to an end, I have big challenges to fulfill on the IRL side, just as exciting as ogame, in truth perhaps even more so. I would of course have liked to continue with you, especially with the prospects of challenges that we have offered this successful merger. So I did my best in these last moments to continue to animate this universe as best as I could while remaining faithful to my old-fashioned style of play.
I really had a lot of fun with our community, I met some really great players and was also able to see the overall progression of the universe where the level of play has nevertheless risen well, I think I have a little contributed without any boasting.
I wanted to salute all my allies and faithful companions, the entire MPG, an alliance that started from nothing without any pretension with Prozer and Bclkdtlh at their head for those who remember. We were all top 300 then when the Hunters already had millions of points (thanks DM). Our rise was made by talent, by recycled fleets and that's what made this adventure so magical. I must admit that I took great pleasure in destroying all these fleets built at the DM. I quickly found myself in the top 100 (that was my initial goal, to play without any hassle). Then I continued, I continued the destruction. I found myself in the top 70, then the top 50 then the top 20. There I started to worry about the biggest ones, it was incomprehensible for many to see me arriving in trouble. No one was betting on me to one day make it into the top 10, except perhaps our former top 1 Blacktoprak who had figured out that I wasn't playing like most of the best players. My atypical and very offensive style continued to pay off, I chained the discs together to end up completely dominating the universe, first in the fleet, then finally in December taking first place.
I also arrested the AKINCI and the Hunters even before my accession to the throne by decimating several of their fleets single-handedly while these two rival alliances outrageously dominated the universe in terms of fleets.
Then there was the great void in the universe, I had won almost everything, exterminated everything in the company of my greatest playmate Master Chief (former top 2 before his retirement) only the toughest and most tenacious remained, special mention to Toti_22 who is the worthy representative of these players who learned a lot and knew how to raise their level of play to cope with the pressure that I was able to put on.
We can talk about this merger request that I initiated in March, granting a one-month truce to the universe, unfortunately which could not be completely respected given the bellicose attitude of some, but which has gives the universe a welcome breath all the same over almost 4 weeks. It was also my responsibility as top 1 to try to guide the universe in the right direction. And I believe that today it was successful, GF listened to us and we were selected for a merger with Saros, it is perhaps the greatest victory in this universe.
I was very happy to meet the Saros players as well, there are a lot of good players with ideas that I like and who are really there for fun above all and the combat that I like. Today I leave them the keys to the universe because it is undoubtedly Dark Bane who will take over in the rankings, and I wish him the best for the future as well as all the Undae players, even my Best enemies the REX against whom I have no grudge and whose combativeness I appreciated for some (special mention to Nomad who did not give up, but also Zapp, Exuviae... Keep it up).
I could still talk for hours about Undae, but I think I've covered the main points and I'm now going to tackle the fight itself.
The Emperor is a rigorous player, not many mistakes to notice, he was prudent enough to stay away from me as much as possible like a lot of fleets now. Complicated to have it in moon destruction, this was tried by Yuki but hey with the DM and metal pack let's go I'll make you thousands of destroyers in a few seconds to intercept 10 rips when I have 0 fleet at the dock to defend myself (yeah that's the sadness of today's game, talent is replaced by money, but that's another debate).
In the end I approached the thing differently, good old observation, good old calculations and ultimately that's what works best. The Emperor is mainly active at night, and especially from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
But he often brings his fleet back in the middle of the afternoon. He is present but less attentive at this time of the day (maybe he goes to work, has breakfast, I don't know but there was something to exploit). The window was short, 30 to 60 minutes of absence at that time. I had to get closer. No, I didn't use a planet move, I did it the old fashioned way, good old flying colony in his system by calculating everything so that the chronology was perfect. And as you saw, it was perfect. Colonization, dispatch of fleet, attack almost immediately. All almost without downtime with surgical precision since he had to reconnect not even 10 minutes after the attack, but it was over. And yes, never think you're safe, I can sometimes strike extremely quickly while you think I'm very far away, that's the surprise effect.

To conclude, my assessment of Undae is:
8 top 10 solo/10 active.
28 Hofs who moved into the top 10 solo, 2 in the top 10 ACS, i.e. 30 Hofs ranked.
About 60 Hofs made in the universe.
86 million points destroyed, more than 50 billion in profits coming solely from fleet recycling, profits which must rise to 70 or 80 billions if we count the looting and raids of inactives.
I'm talking about this last part to make it clear that you don't have to buy DM to be top 10 or even top 1. With talent and will, above all, it's always possible. I started the universe when the first ones had 2-3 million points and I played mainly in general class at the beginning not knowing much about expeditions after 15 years without having been on ogame.
