The work that started years and years ago and has been reincarnated various times, most recently in the form of AGR, has always been appreciated. But since the latest update, we have come to realize that the base game without AGR is... well, completely crap. The QoL AGR (and earlier incarnations) give to the game is incredible. And all other tools, calculators, simulators are a basic must-have for all serious and many casual players.
This is probably the worst update in years, maybe ever. Every single mod is broken, many parts of the game is semi-broken or just very buggy. Many of us have just realized (maybe we already knew) how much the game sucks without the amazing mods that give some very much needed QoL functions to the game.

GF screwed the pooch on the latest update. None of most popular addons work, the entire message section is a complete mess ie bad design, unreadable buttons... The new UI will apparently be rolled out via several updates with no clear roadmap, no real info on what will be changed, and no reliable sources on how it will affect mod coding. So, no addon developers in their right mind will update anything until GF get their shite together. Tbh you'd be better off in v-mode for some time, unless you like to have a calculator on your desk and add up ress manually, divided by cargos, add the deut usage and spend 30 minutes to fleet your ress around. In any other scenario for a casual player, the game is a pain to play, it feels worse than ever and requires more clicking than 15 years ago, with out any sort of QoL functions ingame.
