You're back! I half thought that you had grown so disheartened that you gave up on the dragon.
Gratz to you and fast rebuild to the defender. (did he even notice?) ![]()

Congratulations to all of you who still play this server! ![]()
A personal thank you from me to all the nice people and I guess to all the villains too. It wouldn't have been as much fun without you.
Game on!
Looking at Fubs military score increase over the past 3 months, I can see how that got you guys worried.. ![]()
Congratulations on the hit! Nice big numbers and it didn't come cheap.
Come on Fub, you can do better than this. Wish you a normal boring rebuild.
Congratulations on the hit!
And I wish a fast rebuild for my blurry faced friend.
Poetry? I never cared much for that. My ability to express myself is limited. But I can give it a go.

Or maybe a haiku? But that's tricky. I don't know the intricacies. Do silent vowels or syllables count?

the difference is we’ve been hitting ADI multiple times here and there, some times while he was online. But while we targeted fleets on moons loaded with resources, ADI focused on daily production and bashing satellites for barely any profit. Attacking moons requires skill, whereas farming planets using a phalanx just to bash satellites is relatively straightforward.
We could have gone scorched earth on him, and start bashing every one of his planets 6 times a day, but what is the fun in that?
We saw others building fleets when Fub was building his. We also know that lately Adi and others have scrapped portions of theirs
I've seen examples where you guys have shown skill. No doubt about that. But this wasn't really one of those. ADI messed up his fleetsaves and paid the price. If not for the deut story (which I liked), this for Breizh would have been like farming an inactive.
On the choice of targets. The power gap is so big that there is no way in which we can take down your fleets. So we're always confined to hitting either cargo fleets or stuff left unsaved on planets. And yes, sometimes the shoe is on the other foot and poor play on your side is punished. Should it be any other way? Would you expect any different from people who you've harassed for months? To declare yourself immune to that seems arrogant to me but also takes away part of the fun. A (The?) right level of fear and paranoia is and should be part of every ogame experience.
Not that you don't have Any. Or at least, that's how it seems to me. I think that all this outward posing is because you guys are afraid of losing your crawlers. It would interfere with your mining operations (and in some cases your dm'ing). Not in the absolute of course but it would be.. inconvenient.
Scrapping is a balancing act but also more efficient if you do it with bigger numbers. I wouldn't read too much into it.
Congratulations to you Breizh. Well spotted!
I'm always a bit sad when friends lose the points they worked so hard for. Especially when it's mistakes that could have been avoided. It happening to whom I consider to be our best player isn't helpful either no. But it wasn't unexpected. He had been poking the bear so to speak. Maybe he'll tell you the reason of why it happened, maybe he won't. Don't know if he even has an account on here.
But there's a difference between sadness and perceived ugliness. If you had blown up his moons and then found his fleet, I would have been less sad and more disgusted. He was taking risks after all and made profitable hits on you guys.
Lastly, if you look at Adi's military score history, you'll notice that he did scrap a good number of ships a couple of days prior. It could have been much worse. ![]()
For over half a year now, the name of the game has been "scrap and reinvest". Everybody has been getting rid of fleet like it's a disease. Because if they don't, you guys come around and blow up their moons callously until it pops up. And sure, I understand that half of them will have been because of poor saving practices or not being disciplined enough. But I think the point stands that beyond a point there is no space to operate as a fleeter in this uni (outside Primaris). That was most frustrating to the people I spoke to.
Also, a little bit more respect for the people that still play with you on this server wouldn't hurt. Show some grace when somebody manages to snipe your cargo fleet or notices that you left stuff sitting. It's not a reason to go act like a space Karen and blow up moons.
Congratulations on the hit! Huge numbers and at what a cost.
I had sort of hoped that Fub would have taken one or more of you down before this would happen. It would have been nice for there to be some balancing force to oppose you. To keep you guys on your toes and for there to be some chance of excitement happening. But alas, he turns out to be a (mediocre?) player after all.
There is no doubt in my mind that Primaris has some very good fleeters but don't fool yourselves with that raider leaderboard. It's not because you are the best raiders but because you are the only raiders. All the biggest fleets united in one alliance and all medium ones bullied into perma vmode. To the detriment of your own fun and probably also score by now. oh well..
