Posting this hit because it is FUN. I saw defender get hit recently. I don't know what they lost because the Automatic Message Translation team, or AMT for short, didn't post it.
So today I spied and saw various targets of the defender to go after. I went out of my comfort zone to take the biggest one. Things got dicey. Moons of the defender were lighting up with no activity on the main planet so I assume others were also spying. Upset that I missed out on the recent opportunity, acting quickly, I launched. Below is the main attack but with so much rez on the moon I sent 2 additional cargo waves. problem is, I dont have enough cargos (constant problem for me and due to the fact that I'm terrible at saving resources). Well I got busy launching on other moons of the def and missed that activity started on the home planet. my last wave of cargos were forgotten and now I have even less cargos. . ouch. gg def. you got my large cargos and recycled them well. I still ended up in the positive and an exciting day for sure.

Story Time...
A couple months ago I spied and blew him up (different planet than below). I also raided his moons and took a fair bit of profit for the day. he began messaging me very aggressive messages in game threatening me that if i ever attacked him again he would destroy me and yadda yadda. i left him alone for awhile and he turtled up. Well I hit him again yesterday and before you know it I had 800+ IPMs coming my way. In between those he sent 8k ish probes at me??? I don't judge
Then came a bunch more messages about how he was going to marry me and destroy me all at the same time. I'm already taken in that department, but he sure is persistent.Today I noticed he moved/colonized in my same SS. I was curious of course so i spied him. low and behold fleet sitting, not saved, no moon and in SS is a much quicker flight time so I blew it up as you see below.
Now I wait. .
IPMs incoming? - I'm sure of it.
Mean messages? - you betcha.
Future sitting fleets for me to destroy? - without a doubt.

haven't checked on Ghost in a long time. He was seemingly good at fleetsaving and so I lost interest. I randomly spied his moons today and found this sitting there. Activity was sparse so I waited and then launched. Someone else must have been spying other planets because I saw that but still nothing on main and let the fleet do their job. My largest solo to date. Kwisatz Aderach saw the winnings before I had a chance to spend it, but its all gone now. GLOTR def, hope all is ok
