    on old design, we had 9 galaxies and 9 planets. so you could put one planet per galaxy. now days there is no hard cap on planet count, yet you go lower galaxy numbers with an excuse not enough players. we do not want to be in an sandwich with everyone. there are different play styles and yet you always favour fleeters, even in ''miner'' universes, you go and do 50% into DF, not only that but you introduce further crap that make system to system or galaxy to galaxy flights even faster ( emptu systems ignored, circular galaxies, etc ). we need one universe that has 20 galaxies, non circular, systems as well.

    I wholeheartedly agree. Can we have 400-1000 galaxies for each active player one. So no worries no big bad fleeter will come even close

    your biggest problem in universe 1 is, all systems are packed full, its impossible to find slot 8's emptu and have planets near each other whatsoever. 9 galaxies full of VM players or inactive accounts with DM on em. Universe 1 need to get purged from inactives/banned/ inactive Vmode or expand number of galaxies. I wanted to start an account in uni 1, however in state it is, aint worth my time. Universe seams have decent number of accounts who actually are developed to some point ( more then 10mil points )

    You shouldn't account for that because the game back then didn't even provide larger planets. From what i remember back then biggest planet was 263 fields no? So yeah...10 years ago alot of players might have had largest planets and today anything below 300 will be pain in the a** if you play for more then 2-3 years.

    this is true. my mining account on Izar back then had like 220 or more fields on planets. even that was hard to get.. it really shocked me back then, we were stuck with such small planets in such high speed uni's. I had a few under 220, like 203... and izar was 5x fleet 5x eco. playing that account now would be major pain in the rear. i would have to item boost each planet plus do terraformers everywhere. I play now again in x8 eco universe. i already have planet with 232 fields taken after like 2 and half months playing. I calculated a bit. with high mine levels, labs and shipyards, silos i should hit 300+ fields easy.. I wanted to set myself a standard of nothing below 300, however i did dip under it with three planets and i regret it. 2x 295 fields and homeworld with 290. I did boost homeworld with 24 fields via items and terraformer lvl 11 for total of 374 fields, however it still bothers me. its stupid we cant have planets over 300 fields vanilla. nowdays every universe on start gives you bonus either 25 or 30 fields, better remove that machanics and item boost as well. it makes no sense to have item boost fields, better give us another building, tech or rework the formula for planet fields to give us like discoverer with ally boost in vanilla ( +15% on planet diameter ) and let discoverer get its 15% boost on top of that still.. and no i aint taking kalesh or whatever just for terraformer 2.0


    Planet fields formula need to be changed, and offer us to be able to get 300+ fields easy, let 400 be standard for discoverer class. we had great planet sizes in old design. i remember slot 4 gaved biggest ones. i had like 340 field planets, chubby ones. no idea why gf came to idea to reduce planet sizes to 250 fields max without discoverer, nowdays you can fill up 350 fields easy if you play for few years. not everyone play till he loses fleet or for few months.


    nowdays who plays collector from start, is screwed. you are stuck with small ass planets, and i see a lot of fresh small accounts playing collector not knowing they make major mistake.

    this thread turned out to be somewhat ''wall of cry'' for ogamers. i came from long pause back. my first instinct was, register in universe one, and play my game. why should i bother if another dude has 25,000 or 250,000,000 BC or RIPs? you cant play correctly? get recycled, you deserved it. this game was far more aggressive in old design. nowdays if you need ress and cant buy resource packs, well send expos, easy as it is, like going to get food, no more need to hunt for it, just visit groceries store and pick what you like. progress in ogame has become so easy. in old days, you had to bleed for it.


    i had multiple chance to get top 15 account as gift in the universe i play atm. i refused. i like hard way, build my account from zero, work for rank, fight vs odds and struggle. in my universe #1 has +200mil points. I have barely 8mil. so what? persistence wins in the end.


    I support merges, cause without em, you would have 5 active players per emptu universe. idk why you think you deserve to be merged with similar point/fleet/eco strength?


    if it was me, i would mark your universe as exodus one, give you 2 months to decide where you wanna go and give you option any older universe then exodus one and be done with it. if i could choose now. i would settle for universe one, for two main reasons, it has 9 galaxies and its 1x fleet speed. everything else is more or less irrelevant for me.

    you said you want ogame to be balanced. whole point of it is, not to be. it would make game boring as hell, when hardcore and casual players would be on same height or equal in progress.


    as much there is lot of hate towards ress buying and DM ''abuse'' you all forget, it keeps those players playing the game. top dog get crashed, what happend in old days? instant vm and quit. nowdays top dogs actually rebuild more often wia insta building and buying resource packs.

    He stopped fleeeting or fleet saving? None the less, we see the same outcome. Seams only few targets are left and this universe belong to you guys. It turned out i joined great ally, didnt count on you to start taking down top fleets at this pace. Couldnt imagine what would you pull out if ACS was ON in this universe. Have fun, love seeing ur CR's in internal ally chat, bring memories to me from old days. If big fleet combats could create a black hole in this game, you would be responsible for a few.:borg:

    All buffs stack atop of each other. If you are asking if the cap is 100%, no it is not. It goes to 150-200%. However i would say you dont need energy techs at all. Everyone plays fusion reactor.


    Just for example if you wanna put stuff into calculator and see the investment. I have fusion lvl 22 (80% usage)+ disruption chamber lvl 25 and it covers all energy for M47 C35 D40 mines + LF buildings M23 C11 D11. Oh and my energy tech is lvl 23. Remember to keep energy tech +/- 1lvl difference from fusion and you are all good.


    I am slot 8 player, i don't know if there is some difference that slot 15 players would recommend.



    i play ogame since old design, my wish was always to do winter expedition, and to get rid of solar sat economy.


    i have done some starting calculations, and i see it could get relative cheaply fusions going with some help of solar plants on lvl 30 to sustain high mines of 45 40 42 on every planet on slot 15. solar power plant aint really needed, but i have enough planet fields, so who cares.


    about energy tech, yeah, I figured it out, it best works in range of equal, one under, oder one above fusion reactor.


    I have read somewhere here on forum that there are some buff limits, i think in fleet speed and few more? could you tell me which ones?

    Hello, im back at ogame after couple of years, I see lot is changed, lots new ships and lifeforms.


    I have decided to choose rocktal race for my planets, they have one building that boosts energy production on planet ( disruption chamber ) and if I add two techs in tier 1 tree ( volcanic batteries and geothermal power plants ) , all three combined could give me whoping energy production boost of 115,5% at the levels i calculated. now before i dive into this with time and resources, i need it to be clarified to me, is base energy production on the planet ( solar sats, power plants, fusions ) limited how much it can be boosted with techs/buildings, or is it unlocked for us without the limit?
