I am surprised nobody makes the same kind of statement now because it is hitting the fan in a way way worse way. Maybe it is just the board being more dead.

Although i don't play this game anymore, i recall i like the "long term planning" of the game. I wasn't overly happy with the eco increase even if i was a miner. It made my progression a bit meaning less since all my res accumulating could now be done in a short time and forced me to empty my planets more often to the point i felt a slave to the game and i was relieved when i quit.

I am surprised there are still 329 players left. I recall when there were 15 000 accounts. How many accounts now ?

This is interesting but as others have already mentioned, turtling is not a viable gaming option. If it was, everyone would do it and there would be zero fleeters. The sole point of defenses is to mitigate profit and protect your daily production from small time raids. The only way to survive in this game was to fleetsave. Now of course it is to have a big credit card but you get our point. When i played as a miner i had big defenses but their were not my main investment, i moved my resources constantly, pooled and fleetsaved everyday. There was no other way.

I sort of hoped the community aspect would survive what this game has become. You know, because people knew each other and would have things to tell each other. But nearly everyone has left that too.

Sorry to see you hit, Thor. But i guess for you the social aspect of what is left of that game is what matters.
