It is also quite ridiculous they did it. 
Like a nun hiding the nether parts of a Greek statue. It just shows they have no humour and they are afraid of those quite innocent comments.

Ok, Assassins are petty people in a ridiculous game. But why leave so much resources lying ? Now a lot of people will want to farm you knowing it is profitable. Also whining does not make people popular. Do not hope for white knighting. Especially in what is left of this community.

Also, most of the people who appreciated the long term planning and the game logic of the game as it was when the universe was eco 1 or 2 have left long ago. They will not come back and they will certainly not abide by the packs. And since they don't want packs, GF has zero interest in them.

Display MoreI had a major issue with my account in Keid. GA and GameForge are not helping with just one player to get back on track. (its a very long story, but the conclussion is corruption)
We have absolute zero to do with the game. GameForge wants to make the last profit out of ogame. If u take a look on the company results it seems like a good idea NOT TO LISTEN TO PLAYERS!
About my issues the highest (GA - COMA) I have tried to come in contact with GameForge about 10-20 times. They will not tell me anything about how to complain or just ask general quenstion. They just say read the Terms and conditions, but not where to look or anything.
I will say with 100% that the game is corrupt and smells also a bit corrupt when the players/people have zero to say and If they want to say anything just get the message "Read Terms and conditions".
LEAVE OGAME NOW! - Go get in fitness, go be social, go learn making the new dish u been thinking about and leave account vmode and money on ur bank account.

Gameforge: consistently inconsistent since 2005
There were good times and bad times depending on the COMA and Teamlers involved.
The current COMA is horrible. And there is a disconnect and poor communication between what the COMA says and the Teamlers (GO/SGO/GA) get from the COMA and with how they're interpreting the rules and enforcing them. And part of that is going to be from having different rules in different communities that aren't standardized and having teamlers that work across multiple communities who don't realize the rules are different from one community to another. Or the COMAs and GAs interpret the rules/T&C differently due to how they're translated, poor wording, subjective/vague wording, literacy level, grammar/punctuation issues, etc.
Kewlness was the best GA ever, hands down. Those were the good years and the COMA then actually listened to him and they both engaged with the community, and had a good grasp of the players and politics/drama in each individual uni. The current crop could care less about the community here so they can't connect the dots or see when 1+1 = 2 in the tickets.It is very clear since at least the officers in 2007 they (gameforge) see their players as marks, chumps, and losers. They even bragged when people were furious after the officers they bought beer with the money from it. The clean their soles on you and you continue to pay them.

About French humour, i would rate British humour a little bit higher and people forget Americans make excellent humour even if drowned into a lot of slop. But one problem with such comparisons is that good British humour is very well known like the Mounty Python while the excellent French ones like Desproges, Devos, Bedos and the absurd ones like Jaques Rouxel (The Shadock), Alain Chabat and so many others are mainly known in Francophone circles.
And even among Francophones sometimes i wonder... Belgian humour is quite close to the French one, with more taste for absurdities i think.
Quality Francophone culture deserves to be better known, i think. Of course, some parts of it revolve a lot around playing with the language, like many sketches of Devos or Desproges. Or in a more popular segment Les inconnus.

Among the many amusing HoF i recall a guy who was called Belgarion and who self-HoF'ed himself and proudly posted it. It was still universe 3, i think. Probably not remarkable enough to be searched if it still exists.

You seem so bitter about past plans which failed. And at the same time you seem very well aware this ogame thing is a sad waste of money pay to win scheme. And you claim to be glad to have left. Why not just spend good laid back fun with the forum dwellers who are still sane ? Does the rest matter ?
I left in 2019. To my great relief. I learned the packs appeared in 2020 so i am glad i was no there to see this. I should have left when the officers came in 2007. Some did. But there were still many nice blokes to hang out with.

Although i don't play this game anymore, i recall i like the "long term planning" of the game. I wasn't overly happy with the eco increase even if i was a miner. It made my progression a bit meaning less since all my res accumulating could now be done in a short time and forced me to empty my planets more often to the point i felt a slave to the game and i was relieved when i quit.
