Fixed it for you. Dan built 100k battleships, and he used to watch folks midweek and do cross galaxy debris field hits at the weekends.
And Spartacus built 100,000 battleships so he could use that CraftySeed account to raid on weekends or the several nights he didn't sleep. And in turn, all of Al.Inc supplied that account with deuterium to power that fleet. Everyone did and does it now, the difference is that they don't farm but buy resource packs.
This talk of who was what and whenever is bullshit. Today it's purely a team game, especially after ACS. Some of us can't afford to pick our noses in front of the computer screen all day, and we do the best we can with the time that we have to spend.
I totally agree, but I find this habit of picking one's nose somewhat unpleasant.
Glad your team members realized bashing poor folk or getting ninjad in the blind alleys of the universe wasn't the most efficient way to go about. Also, I m happy for them that spotting a forgotten fleet helped tremendously with their broken self - esteem. They already started enjoying it and post trash. Geek P even had the audacity to reply one of my posts with gibberish. I knew something was up.
If you leave a fleet forgotten it is obvious that you are going to try to destroy it, it is part of the game, that involves tactics, coordination and your friends helping, or did you forget when RoLUE entered the war in 2005 and Sagitta together with CHW sold deuterium to Fizban, Cosmic Debris, Urza, PizzaWorld and many more so they could carry out the attacks?
I was always under the impression that folks play this war game in order to destroy others, not for being charitable enough to transfer the resources they obtained with hard earned cash to their enemies and let others have a giggle at their expense. Besides, nowhere in entire OGame will you find a more frequent and generous donor to your enemies. Why let others enjoy the gift that just keeps on giving, but not yourself?
It's not a new topic, that ranked players give resources as support or help to other players, that has been happening since Ogame was born, or do you not remember how KiaKaha grew? They helped each other, shared resources and became one of the alliances with the largest fleet at that time, it's nothing new.
The so called fleeters you surrounded yourself with should have long been dead and buried, and it's a real shame they keep coming back as if it's an annoying zombie movie. Let's see how this will unfold in the new year, but don't expect all the dumbness to be undone just because you built a top 15 account two decades ago.
So how did you do it and sell it? (On several occasions) At least Lord42 has his account, the difference is that he has not done business with others to make a profit. In 2025 there will be new things, changes, destroyed players and updates to the game. Surely there will be zombies or more ways for Gameforge to continue being a business.
