Same for me. I am lucky because today happens to be a later shift at work, but if I was already gone, then I would have no way to log in until I left work, so an attack ban for at least 12 hours I think would be nice to save the fleets of all those who missed their usual time to fleet save.

Depends on what kind of game you are playing. A miner will need his or her planets to be as big as possible so that they can build mines to their biggest size which usually means that any planet with fewer than 200 fields is considered too small and will be scrapped, especially if you end up playing for as long as some of us have been. Even the homeworld which is 163 fields is scrapped and replaced with a bigger one. You'll be surprised how quickly you use up those fields.

blame the game not the player, if you choose not to spend then dont spend, but dont come here all high and mighty about DM purchasing when the very basis of this hit is through insta buildt jump gates WHICH IS USED FROM DARK MATTER,, the hypocrisy is absolutely insane.
I have never bought any dark matter but slowly I am able to gather enough from expeditions to do a week of Geologist and recently there was a 200k or 300k amount of dm given on one of those Reward things so I have been able to do a bit of the extra random things that I would never normally be able to do, so not everyone who uses dm has actually spent money on it, but yes, I do understand the point you are making.
I did want to say well done for the hit though and certainly sounds like it quite eventful. Trid111 was in my alliance in Cygnus so I am sorry to see him hit, and wish him a fast rebuild

Has anyone else lost the rewards that we started prior to the merge? It was only a log in each day set of tasks, but was already on day 3 but my merged accounts have now been put back to 0. That strikes me as a little unfair on all the merging people.

I am not sure if this is the same person that you are talking about, but someone with a very long name launched at me today, then when I messaged him to say I was here, he called me a bot..... I then happened to be reading this thread and with all the talk about bottoms and cling-ons and fartleberries etc, it made me think about the fact that the word bot is also used as a shortened version of bottom, so did that player actually call me a bottom?!
