    Dear players,


    its slowly time for me to leave this community. It was an amazing journey with all of you and I will never forget some of best OGame moments spent here :)
    Since about one year now I have been working on two positions and from next week on I will completely switch my job/position and focus on all my new tasks.

    first of all - you can use 6 waves.


    A moon destruction is not something you are guaranteed to success in moment you decide to do it. With .org moving to international rules players in speed universes which are still too young/inexperienced will be better protected from any bash attempt. However when your alliance has a conflict with some other you all still have a chance to declare wars and lift bashing rule completely/attack eachother as much as you want and pop all the moons if that is your goal.


    As it was asked to improve tutorial rather than change bashing rule - nir0 made perfect example why current bash rule in speed unis is only top-rank friendly:

    Quick question in regards to merge. How much work/man hours did the previous one take and/or how long is expected for this one? For eg, was it decided by one person over 2 days (16 man hours), or was it a full team for hundreds of hours?

    Its hard to say how many hours one merge takes - we are always starting merges in more communities at once. There is always quite some time needed to go over all your wishes, compare them to ingame numbers and see what can we do for you. After that we need to adjust selected universes and start merge process in them.


    As said - right now we are focusing on next version, however your wishes and monitoring ingame situation are still on my plan list so that in moment merging will be possible again we do as fast as we can ;)

    Obviously we still can't lanx seperate galaxies, but will we be able to lanx from say x:490 to x:10 with a lanx lvl 5, since these two position will now be just 20 systems from each other?

    As long as your lanx is high enough you can go from 499 to both directions (so to systems 498,497,... or to system 1,2,...) :)

    5x speed is about as fast as a long term uni is going to support. Faster and you have players fleetsaving to sneeze.

    you are quite right here. There are a lot of players supporting idea of fast speed uni however when it comes to playing such, its no longer OGame. Clicking every couple seconds in first days and getting crashed while going to toilet makes fun for noone ;)

    Well they could have many ideas, but it's better to do something that goes with the opinion of customers, than the oposite....

    As we have thousands of players there is not a single universe which would fit to everyone. Due to that we are constantly opening new ones with different settings. Some are for fleeters, some are for miners, some for casual gamers, some for ones which play mixed style, ... Not all universes can be something that exactly you wish for, but they do fit to some others ;)

    YelWar it's sad but true gf have not a good polici with the players, but if we say nothing, they nothing do :)

    Your opinion is always important to us, basing an uni setting on couple comments makes however no sense. We try to please as many players as possible with each new universe.

    So to return to original topic - idea of having high speed as normal universe is still in our mind, but it won't be opened for sure in next rounds. We are analyzing data and in future will be decided if such universe comes to our servers.
