Just a spy and fly. I believe it is my most profitable attack ever. A bunch more of his ships happened to land between my third and fourth wave, so wave four got ninja'd and I had to recall waves five and six to send heavier ships. Good luck rebuilding, KingOfGoths, and thanks for being a good sport about it. :)

    Posting for a friend:

I spotted the guys fleet a week ago watched him a little then after being onlined twice I got him on his deploy. Was so worried he would recall but had my count down timer ready for his return leg if he recalled .

This might be the spammingest spam thread wut ever spammed except for the Baal fan club discussion.

Clittle, I have no clue what you hoped to accomplish with this diatribe, but I hope you got what you wanted out of it and glirl. I remember you going to Assassins being a bit of an eyebrow raiser, and apparently you weren't happy with that decision in the end. I have no insight into the internal strife you and DJ have both referenced in different places, but I'll bet it was at least pretty fun playing for such an organized and motivated team for a while. Maybe take that positive part away as what you remember in the long run. It's only a game.

I spotted a rare opportunity to trap someone on the lanx. Don't you wish you could see the look on their face when they realize there's no way out? :evilgrin2: I took quite a bit more damage than I expected because it didn't occur to me that he might instabuild a bunch of plasma turrets. There was enough time to send heavier ships, but I got greedy with the deut I guess. I'll be more wary of that in the future, but props to him for denying me as much profit as he could.

Good luck rebuilding, defender. Hopefully your alliance will coach you on how to avoid this in the future.

Ah the irony of me just mentioning u above and then reading on down to see that u have posted and i need to answer a Q for u.

Anyways, that follow -up was a hit to the adjacent Planet (designed primarily to limit his ability to gather in the DF that we couldn't on ur 1st visit to the well). :wink3:

I don't know what you mean. If you're referring to the two accounts in the same comment as this quote, neither of them were mine.
But thank you for the clarification on the follow up.

I didn't read all of the posts on this thread, so maybe I'm missing something. From what I've gathered, the defending ACS didn't know when the attack would arrive, so safety probes would have prevented this. If that's the case, then that's some pretty sloppy game play on the attacker's part. I'd be more careful with a fleet that big. Congrats to the Assassins team on one heck of a ninja. Ninjas are the best. Sorry to see that you're leaving, Al. I hate to see good players stepping out.

The probability of getting a moon with ten consecutive tries at 40% is 99.4%. I had 22 consecutive fails once at 20% each, and calculated that the probability that I should have gotten a moon was 99.3%. I decided then that the game doesn't truly work on the percent chances that it represents.
