    lol, i'm not really sure what GF is trying to achieve with this thread, GF are asking for comments on a new version but we have no info as to what the potential changes are, in my experience people will naturally want the current version fixed and the main issues there seem to be the lag at 15 to 17 mins past the hour and the honour points system.


    As a software developer myself with 32 years experience of software development we listen to our customers requests and simply build them into the next version, I personally think GF should implement simple changes, for example you could stop people doing more that 6 hits on a target by holding the attackers raids in say the last 48 hours, this would free up more time for go's to check for the real cheaters (the scripters), also this could be setup with a new option for alliances declaring war (which obviously effects the bashing rule) ... War could be declared ingame between the leaders and then with a bit of extra code GF could keep the score of the war automatically (not rocket science) with an extra tab on the Stats page.


    In essence look to make the game more playable, bring back no activity * on a moon as solo ninja's are nearly impossible nowdays between 2 good players, people want enjoyment out of a game, keep it simple and fun.

    For Bishop - if you relocate a planet with fleet on the planet or moon it travels from where you moved from to where you moved to at 100%, there is no recall option, your fleet moves for free costing no deut, generally a top fleeter would not use this option as there are risks (and this smash proves this point) but Kotton did not have time to wait for his JG to open (this takes 24 hours after relocation) ...


    ok, grab a beer, it's story time ... this all started when Galactus went Inactive, I popped a couple of moons and Brawler popped a 3rd, we found Galactus's returning fleet ... however, Galactus returns back about 36-38 hours beforehand so were expecting a massive ACS Defend ... we're checking all the locations locally about once every hour to see if and when someone is coming and we see a couple of relocations, the first we spotted in an hour time frame so the next day me and Quiff take turns watching every 15 mins and we find the exact time the planet relocates, as there was less than 24 hours to go I know Kotton cannot use his JG so I gamble that he will send his fleet to the moon and that the slowest ship will be his recyclers, we work out the timings for the dezzies and LC but these times passed by with no activity ... funny part is we was working on a probe report that was 17 days old but we sent tons of fleet and here's the result ...


    had a few messages from Kotton and he took the hit in a great manner, very sporting, but i'm sure he will be planning revenge, thanks to all the guys for believing that this could be done and for obviously going on such a crazed mission, big congrats to Plesholix on his upcoming marriage, a lot of this was luck too in that we had to guess he flew to the moon ... those last 2 minutes were very exciting indeed, usual dedications out from me to all the guys/gals in Knuck, the wife and Quiff of course who suddenly changed his name for some reason to Booyah :D

    woot hopefully 1st post, ok from my point of view I got asked by Quiff and Ludes/Kidd to come up there for A-r-e-s so thought may as well, was painful hiding there for a couple of days not being able to probe but I probed everyone else and even got a few nice hits :D

    welll one day Ares you may actually need an ACS defence and suprise suprise no-one will defend you, I feel sorry for the decent honest players in ExGonzos who now from no fault of their own will be tarnished with the same brush as Ares, I know of one who has left and there probably will be others who would want to distance themselves from this.


    you have shown exactly what DDC ally is all about and no doubt every decent honest player in Andro is removing any DDC players from their buddy list, the same will go for ACS attacks as no-one in their right mind will trust you, it must be sad to be that paranoid about removing one players fleet in what after all is simply a game.
