Honestly, I'm not sure if I should be floored that people think so highly of my skill to accuse me of cheating, or offended by people's inability to understand a simple DF timeback.
Claiming you blindly watched a DF with no clue a fleet had even jumped there is hilarious or was anywhere for that matter but decided to watch his DF every few seconds 'just incase'? For how long?
Well done for being the first ever OGame player to not probe a fleet at all, watch a DF religiously to see the exact moment it disappears and then time it back not knowing a fleet is even there to catch.
I watched for less than 5 minutes total, over the course of two periods. You're welcome to use your brain to figure out how I did it. (Hint: read the rest of this post.)
As for your congratulations, I'd love to claim credit, but unfortunately I'm not the first fleeter who knows how to watch for activity and track targets without probing. Given how this conversation is going, I might be one of the last, though. Is U1 the only universe where fleeters know how to do anything besides spam probe, MD, and bash miners?
so basically out of couple moons he had * you predicted the one he fs'd short df harvest from and you even managed to time it 1 second behind him without landing a single probe? Without droping a single spy you quessed right away on what % general class player fs'd short df fs??
How did you managed to return lee adama after he crushed trid1?? You also got lucky to spot massive df and predicted Lee did it before trid1 even gave you a hit time?
For a so-called "old-school" fleeter, you sure seem to fall into the stereotype of the newb who got "gifted" an account and has no idea what to do with it. If your forum posts are any indication, you've done zero big hits, and in fact seem to be "losing" a "war" to an alliance of miners and crying about it? (Hats off to LTL by the way, hopefully you'll show this guy how to play.)
It sure seems like Clickclack made up some stuff to excuse himself of allowing this hit to happen, as one does. He does FS to DF regularly, and in fact did it almost exactly seven days before at around the same time. I got the time last week as well but was too far to take advantage of this. The location of his fleet was also super obvious from watching his activity (though as I said, I was not 100% sure, since I didn't probe). There were also two other giveaways that I won't go into, but as an "old-school" fleeter, you should surely be able to figure them out. But hey, at least he didn't have to invent any personal tragedies or bugs.
Clickclack launched his FS at 10%, and the 15% and 5% times were 12 minutes before and 40 minutes after respectively. When the gaps are that big, it's not too hard to figure out the % just from activity. As for my evidently fortunate timeback timing, I went based on the DF time I got and launched two waves spaced a few seconds apart. So yes, it was partially good fortune that I locked him so tightly, but it if you do multiple waves, it doesn't take much luck for one of them to hit close to the target.
Thanks for confirming that I was able to lock Lee Adama, I wasn't sure until hearing it from you, since I missed and heard nothing from him. And yes, I was launching at Tridd at the same time, and was refreshing for activity when I noticed the DF appear. I checked for who was online and made a guess and tried a launch, and then missed. Do you mind telling me how many seconds behind I was?
Maybe go back to U1 and learn from either Muppets or Assassins, they seem to at least know basic fleeting skills.
Another hit proving why this game is broken. Same "technique" like RiV- uses with his Zero Two account. And then crying why the unis are so empty when only whales and a very special kind of players are left
Farming miners into vmode and noobs into quitting kills the uni more than timing back one of the fleeters who was farming them. I've also done zero crying about the universe being empty. Maybe you're projecting based on your 'buddy' AGFS?
Are you also in vmode because of your conflict with LTL? For a side that that posted 70 CRs against your enemies, you sure seem to be running scared of them, no?
Click clank has proven to take good care of his fleet many times, it would be nice to hear something from defender… wish you a speedy rebuild and hope you stick around!
Sydney- a lot of speculation so far from other players in our Uni, I’m not to join in on all that, I will say I hope none of its true, and make Quad look like an undesirable universe to merge into if we are a Target universe.. low player count already affects us here.
Attacker enjoy profits
Defender stay and rebuild
Thank you, and it's nice to see an actual old-school fleeter like you around the game. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the new style of "fleeter" who can only spy fly, MD, bash miners, and cry.
I gotta ask what all this speculation is, if no one wants to post it can someone PM me board or discord and elaborate?
Id like to say nice hit and profit but will hold out for now.... either way FR defender
Letal, AGFS, and their lapdogs in Covenant/Bomba don't understand how to do DF timebacks or how to watch for activity, and so are claiming that I used a script to figure out where Clickclack's fleet was. They're also claiming that I used another script to get the time for my (failed) timeback on Lee Adama.
